Prior to the Golden Horned Beast incident, he pretended to be low key and reserved. However after Hong and Lei Shen were put in a coma, Mo Henderson, East, Sokolov, Tripathi Singh and Jia Yi deceased after their sacrifice and Luo Feng presumed dead, Atkin showed his true colors as he was the strongest warrior alive at that time.
He sent Yan Hai and 2 other War Gods to intimidate the relatives of the deceased warriors who sacrificed themselves, even robbing Luo Feng's family of Muya Crystals, earning Luo Feng's wrath.
When he learnt that Luo Feng was still alive, he publicly broadcasted Luo Feng's return and pretended to be welcoming, assuming he was safe in the public spotlight, however Luo Feng killed him in broad daylight in front of many people.[3]
