Beast God

Description[]

Beast God is a term that is applied to two different sets of creatures. One is the group of Natural Beast Gods (天生兽神(tiānshēng shòu shén)) while the other is the group of Cultivated Beast Gods (后天兽神(hòutiān shòu shén), lit. Nurtured Beast Gods). Each Beast God corresponds to a combination of Upper and Lower Original Laws that were fused to create a Way of the Beast God. While there are only ever 8 beings with the title of Beast God within the Original Universe (the Eight Beast Gods of the Ancestral God Sect), other beings within the Original Universe follow the Ways of the Beast God and may be called Beast Gods if they reach Universe Master along those ways.

Space Beast Ancestor, as a being who mastered all 8 Ways of the Beast God^[3], is called Old Beast God (老兽神(lǎo shòu shén)), despite not being a member of the Ancestral God Sect^[4].

Natural Beast Gods[]

The Eight Natural Beast Gods were unique Special Lifeforms born at the beginning of the Reincarnation Era^[5]. They existed as the manifestation of the fusion laws that comprise the 8 Ways of the Beast God and were part of the Ancestral God Sect^[5]. Every one of their moves contained the mysteries of their Beast God way^[6]. They were made of the condensed essence of the Original Universe, making them natural treasures more valuable than thousands or even 10,000 Common Arcana^[7].

Originally, they were safe in the universe, as the number of great beings from different powers in the universe was low, but as great beings began to rise from from the countless races of the universe, this changed^[8]. Seeking to obtain the incredible value of the bodies of the Natural Beast Gods, the great beings of the universe would come together to hunt them, resulting in the death of all of the Natural Beast Gods, who could have only survived by hiding in perpetuity. As beings who innately obtained the position of Beast God, they were Tier 5 Universe Masters, with Life Gene Levels of at least 10,000.

The Natural Beast God of the Gold and Space was killed in Blood River World^[7], leaving behind Blood River Crystals and Beast God Blood.

Cultivated Beast Gods[]

The Cultivated Beast Gods are those lifeforms who, through training in the Ways of the Beast God, reached Universe Master. The 8 who took on the official Ancestral God Sect position of Beast God serve as the Eight Beast Gods. Since these practitioners became Beast Gods through their training efforts, rather than being born as Beast Gods, their bodies are not natural treasures and thus they are not hunted by other great beings. Like Natural Beast Gods, every part of their Divine Body is like a weapon, and any technique they have can be executed directly with their Divine Body^[9].

While there are a number of beings who have become Universe Masters through training in the Ways of the Beast God, only the Eight Beast Gods hold the official position of Beast God and, with the aid of the Origin Will of the Original Universe, become Tier 5 Universe Masters, on par with Primal Chaos City Leader or Nine Remoteness Master. Others who follow the Ways of the Beast God can reach this level (such as Golden Horn Master), or even surpass it (such as Space Beast Ancestor), but they must do so through their own efforts.

To cultivate to the level of Universe Master through the Way of the Beast God, one must comprehend the Heart of the Beast God (兽神之心(shòu shén zhī xīn)). Space Beasts, as descendants of the Beast Gods, can more easily comprehend the Heart of the Beast God^[10], but many who join the Ancestral God Sect and follow the Ways of the Beast God are stuck at the Universe Overlord level due to their inability to do so. Comprehending the Heart of the Beast God can be said to be the greatest challenge to progress from a Universe Overlord to a Universe Master while following the Way of the Beast God^[10].

Way of the Beast God[]

The Ways of the Beast God are 8 different methods of fusion of Upper and Lower Original Laws. The Way of the Beast God is an incredibly difficult cultivation path to follow, tens of thousands of times harder than simply training in Law of Space or Law of Time ^[11], however many great beings attempt it in hopes of becoming a Universe Master. The 1st level alone is so difficult that even some Universe Venerables have yet to pass it. Passing these levels requires talent in law fusion, but even with adequate law comprehension, if one did not comprehend the Heart of a Beast God, they would forever be stuck on the 7th level, being a Universe Overlord but not a Universe Master^[12].

The Way of the Beast God has 7 different levels:

Completing the 1st level will grant the cultivator law comprehension equivalent to the 15th level of the Tong Tian Bridge^[13]
Completing the 2nd level will grant the cultivator law comprehension equivalent to the 18th level of the Tong Tian Bridge^[14]
Completing the 3rd level will grant the cultivator law comprehension equivalent to the 20th level of the Tong Tian Bridge^[15], making them invincible against anything below Universe Venerable
Completing the 4th level will grant the cultivator law comprehension equivalent to the 21st level of the Tong Tian Bridge, allowing them to become a Universe Venerable^[16]
Completing the 5th level enabled the cultivator to become a periphery member of the Ancestral God Sect^[17]
Completing the 6th level will make the cultivator a Universe Overlord^[18]
Completing the 7th level will result in the cultivator becoming a Universe Master^[19]
