The first extraterrestrial metal that Luo Feng found on Mars. It was used to train his Golden Horned Beast Body when it was Stellar Level. Black Iron is divided into three categories: Black Iron, Black Iron Spirit, and Black Iron Essence.

He later sells about 9 billion tons of Black Iron at .0032 Black Dragon Coins per ton, earning over 20 million Black Dragon Coins.[6]

- In the novel, this metal is referred to as Black Iron and is given different names for each grade, but in the donghua, the equivalent metal is called Ether Crystal Gold (以太晶金, Yǐtài jīng jīn, lit. Ether Crystal Gold), regardless of grade.
