A very handsome young man in white with two blood-red swords on his back. Lacking any expression on his face, his entire being was like a frozen mountain.

Personality

As befitting a once in every ten million years genius, Bolan is very prideful and determined. Once he made a decision, it was very difficult to get him to rethink it. Due to his upbringing and talent, he prefers solitude, but has a good character and eventually made friends with those he considered his peers.

Biography

Bolan is a Stellar Level genius hailing from the Noah Universe Country who participated in the same Pinnacle Genius Battle as Luo Feng. He is considered the most exceptional of the geniuses, to the point that the Immortals assumed he would win the competition.

Before the Pinnacle Genius Battle

Bolan grew up on an aboriginal planet, excluded from universe culture by the Immortal who lived there. There seemed to be no trace of technology on the planet at all, but the planet was still strong, with 10 Universe Level cultivators and many more Stellar Level ones.

On this planet, Bolan was trained by White-Robed Bald Old Man, who considered him the most impressive genius he had seen in his time wandering hundreds of millions of galaxies. As his final test, Bolan was surrounded by 100 Stellar Level 9 Warriors and Spirit Masters, then attacked. Bolan killed all of them in an instant, showcasing his skill and causing his teacher to note that he had nothing else to teach him. His teacher then ordered him to participate in the Pinnacle Genius Battle, where he can join the Virtual Universe Company and find a suitable teacher. Bolan was told to seek his teacher again when he broke through to Immortal.

Pinnacle Genius Battle

During the Noah Universe Country elimination and arena stages, Bolan showcased unbelievable talents in Law of Space , creating over 100 mirror images, meaning he had almost reached the 4th level of the 10,000 Thread Flow. Only 1 in 10,000 World Masters were capable of reaching the 4th level of the 10,000 Thread Flow technique, so for a Stellar Level warrior to be close was incredible! Every genius who saw him, including Luo Feng, wondered just how he had trained to reach this level. He was the undisputed number 1 of the competition, with the Immortals discussing his potential to become a Universe Venerable. When Venerable Nine Swords arrived to perform his role in the competition, the other Immortals noted that Nine Swords had shown a similar level of talent in his Pinnacle Genius Battle performance.

Training Space Elimination

During the Training Space Elimination, Bolan started off with incredible speed, ranking number 1 from the beginning. After starting the 2nd tower, he slowed down and was once overtaken for a bit, but he was one of the final 4 participants, along with Kandita, Yi Feng, and Luo Feng. The eliminated geniuses and the observing Immortals watched as he passed the 6th tower, becoming the first in that competition to do so. Those ranked 2 through 6 at the time had all died at the 1st level of the 6th tower, so his performance was indeed shocking! As Luo Feng fought through the 4th level of the 5th tower, he looked at the ranking on his wrist and saw that Bolan had indeed completed the 6th tower.

On the 1st level of the 7th tower, Bolan was injured, finally being forced to reveal his true strength. With his Law of Wind domain and incredible speed, he killed 5,612 of the Blood Fur Mammoths, each of which was considered comparable to a top-100 genius of the competition! Despite his speed and power, he still failed on the 7th tower, but his display shocked all of the top-100 geniuses, who realized they had no chance against his power.

Arena Duels

As one of the top-100 from the Training Space Elimination, Bolan automatically qualified for direct entry into the core of the Virtual Universe Company (VUC). With his performance, the Immortals noted that if he had opposed how the VUC determined the 100 to fight the top-100, there was a chance his opposition would be considered, since he had been regarded as one to enter the Primal Secret Realm! Babata noted that with his talent, Bolan would indeed be highly valued, treated as a once in every 10 million years genius! If he became an Immortal, he would certainly be stronger than Hu Yan Bo! His strength was such that the VUC specially allowed the top-2 of the competition to join the Primal Secret Realm, as opposed to their normal practice of only allowing the top genius of the competition!

During the actual battles, Bolan easily made it to the top-20; his first opponent in the next set of battles was Tao. Everyone felt sorry for Tao, since they knew he had no chance, and he was indeed easily dispatched. When Luo Feng surprisingly defeated Jia Laixi, Bolan was one of the geniuses who observed in shock; Bolan was considered the only genius with a guarantee to defeat Jia Laixi, since his Consciousness was affected by the energy of the universe, enabling him to not be shaken by the illusions. He was also among those shocked at Rong Jun defeating Gu Si Luo.

In the final top-10 battles, Bolan defeated Long Yun, Rong Jun, Qian Shui, Ai Chen, and Wu Ka, placing number 1 in the competition, as expected.

Primal Chaos City

First 30 Years

In his time on Yu Xiang Mountain, Bolan made friends with some of the other geniuses, who noticed that while he was a loner, he was still a good person. When their class of geniuses arrived in Primal Chaos City, the Immortals noted that he wasn't too bad of a talent. When the geniuses chose their Primal Chaos Tablets, Bolan chose the Universe Primal Chaos Tablet, seeking to master both Law of Space and Law of Time concurrently. In the batch's first attempt at the Tong Tian Bridge, Bolan was one of the two to pass the 1st level (along with Rong Jun), but he was the only one to pass the 2nd level. Thus, he received 2 extra chances to study the Universe Primal Chaos Tablet. Despite this display, no Universe Venerable sought him as a disciple, since the chance of him becoming one was so slim that picking him wasn't worth it to the Venerables. Despite Rong Jun being chosen by a Universe Venerable as a disciple, Bolan still saw no one as his rival except himself.

Within his first year in Primal Chaos City, Bolan attempted and cleared the 3rd level of the Tong Tian Bridge, prompting over 100 other geniuses, including Luo Feng, to attempt the bridge. At some point, he made it to the 7th island of Fantasy Ocean, showing strong Willpower and Consciousness strength, but inferior to Luo Feng's. About nine and a half years into his time in Primal Chaos City, Bolan passed the 4th level of the bridge. In her observation of Bolan under Venerable Nine Swords' orders, King Longyu noted that his talent was exceptional, passing the 4th level of the bridge in half the time she expected him to take. When discussing his talents with King Zhenyan and King Tong Nan, Zhenyan noted that despite Bolan's talent, his movement was not as perfect and precise as Luo Feng's, who had decided to focus on space law. With Luo Feng's improvement, the Immortals began to note that if you excluded Bolan's initial lead, Luo Feng had essentially caught up with him. In his 19th year in Primal Chaos City, he passed the 5th level of the bridge on the same day that Luo Feng passed the 4th level. At the end of their 30 years in Primal Chaos City, he and Luo Feng attempted the bridge one last time, with Luo Feng passing the 5th level and Bolan passing the 6th level. As one who had passed the 6th level of the Tong Tian Bridge, Bolan again showed that he was indeed a once in every ten million years genius! By this time, Bolan had begun to see Luo Feng as his true rival. In discussing Bolan's talent, Kandeli noted that he preferred Luo Feng, as he had focused on a solid foundation in space law, rather than splitting his focus between space law and time law. In their departure to the physical Secret Realms of the Virtual Universe Company, it is implied that Bolan stared at Luo Feng, with the two of them confirming in their thoughts that they were rivals.

Life in the Secret Realms

As a Primal Secret Realm member, Bolan lived relatively close to Long Yun, who informed him when Luo Feng passed the 6th level of the Tong Tian Bridge. Driven by Luo Feng's ascent to his level, Bolan attempted the 7th level, despite it having been only 2 years since he passed the 6th level. Bolan failed, as expected, since while his Law of Space comprehension could reach the 9th level of the bridge, his Law of Time comprehension only reached the 3rd or 4th level, holding him back. While observing Bolan's failure, Bevin noted that due to his talent, he was too prideful, causing him to not take the advice of the Immortals who told him to focus solely on space law and to instead choose the most difficult of the Primal Chaos Tablets, the Universe Primal Chaos Tablet.

Due to Bolan's pride, Tian Shi Palace Master actually chose Luo Feng and Rong Jun over him as talents, and favored Luo Feng above Rong Jun.

Surpassed by Luo Feng

After Luo Feng's 80 years spent in Blood River World, Wu Ka told him that Bolan had failed the 7th level of the Tong Tian Bridge two years prior and failed again on the day they spoke. After Luo Feng failed to pass Primal Sky Mountain, King Zhenyan informed him that geniuses stronger than he or Bolan by 10 to 100 times had appeared in the past, including Kedi. He also shared with Luo Feng that the Universe Venerables did not favor Bolan either, since they had seen many geniuses similar to him and thus knew their pitfalls.

With his acquisition of the Beast God Statue combined with his Golden Horned Beast Body and Mosha Body talents in Law of Space , Luo Feng dramatically improved in his space law comprehension, allowing him to pass the 7th level of the bridge about a half year after he had returned from Blood River World. Bolan learned of this and was shocked into dropping his blade on the floor, acknowledging that Luo Feng had surpassed him. Speaking with his Immortal teacher, he finally realized that he had been too proud in trying to comprehend both space law and time law concurrently, and decided to focus on space law. He then began to follow his teacher's training plan.

Two years prior to his batch's first Secret Realm Qualification Battle, he passed the 7th level of the bridge, about 4 years after Luo Feng. During the qualification battle, he defeated Long Yun, but lost to Mo Luo, Fei Tuo, and Simayan, placing him in the bottom 3 of the Primal Secret Realm. During his meeting with the top 3 of the Absolute Beginning Secret Realm and the bottom 3 of the Primal Secret Realm, he witnessed Luo Feng's attack on Mo Luo and commented that it was vicious. He did not know of Mo Luo's treachery.

Bolan then had to fight against the top 3 of the Absolute Beginning Secret Realm, including Luo Feng. In an exciting battle (due to Luo Feng holding back to show respect to his friend), he lost to Luo Feng. Luo Feng noted that without the Devil's Voice God General Inheritance, he would not have been able to defeat Bolan, which shocked him! Since Bolan also lost to Mo Luo, Ke Luo Fu, and Yu Feng, he was demoted to the Absolute Beginning Secret Realm.

Bolan met with the others from the top-10 of his genius class in sending off Luo Feng, who had decided to break through to Domain Master. At the time, he questioned Luo Feng on if he had a guarantee of passing the 10th level of the Tong Tian Bridge by the time of the next qualification battle. When Luo Feng passed the 13th level of the bridge, Bolan had recently passed the 8th level, still considered exceptional among Universe Level cultivators.

After Universe Level

In the 800 years in Primal Chaos City since Luo Feng was accepted as a disciple in name to Primal Chaos City Leader, Bolan returned to the Primal Secret Realm as a Domain Master. He attempted to contact Luo Feng once during his 6,092 years spent undergoing the inheritance of Star Tower, having recently become a World Master himself.

When Luo Feng successfully passed the World Master Primal Sky Mountain, Bolan met with Wu Ka and Rong Jun to discuss their plans to surpass him. At this time, he was a Primal Secret Realm World Master, but would probably be demoted to the Absolute Beginning Secret Realm if there was an immediate Secret Realm Qualification Battle. He and Rong Jun aimed to become Universe Venerables, but were still somewhat discouraged after Luo Feng passed the 20th level of the bridge.

After Luo Feng became a Universe Venerable, it was noted that Bolan and Rong Jun had become Immortal Kings (around 110,000 years after their Pinnacle Genius Battle). By the end of the story, Bolan had become a Universe Master.

Strength

As a Stellar Level genius, Bolan already had incredible comprehension of both Law of Wind and Law of Space , with a powerful wind domain and space law comprehension bringing him close to the 4th level of the 10,000 Thread Flow! He was ambitious, hoping to use his wind law comprehension as a stepping stone into the Law of Time , and choosing the Universe Primal Chaos Tablet, with the goal of mastering space law and time law concurrently!

He was strong enough to pass the first two levels of the Tong Tian Bridge upon his arrival in Primal Chaos City, and was the first to pass the 3rd and 4th levels as well. While he was surpassed first by Luo Feng and eventually by Rong Jun, he was always considered a once in every 10 million years talent, and continued to live up to this reputation. He became an Immortal King in less than 110,000 years, and eventually became a Universe Master.
