Description[]
Cang Lan Planet is a beautiful planet ranked within the top-100 most important planets in the Black Dragon Mountain Empire.[1] It has a diameter of around 32,000 kilometers, and its master is a World Master who does not currently live on the planet. The Universe Trainee Mercenary Exam takes place in a World Master World on this planet. The cities on the planet are mostly divided into ancient cities and new cities, with the ancient cities having a history of a million years or longer[3]!
Thunder City[]

Thunder City (雷霆市, lit. Thunderclap City) is a flourishing city on Cang Lan Planet, one of the ancient cities of the planet. While it did not always have this name, the World Master World created by Kabu was discovered in this city, and since that world was famous for its thunder, the city was named Thunder City. After the World Master World was discovered, the Universe Mercenary Alliance built up an area near the city. It is likely that Kabu lived in seclusion in Thunder City, then purchased a villa and created his World Master World within. The World Master World is on the second floor of the villa.
The highest skyscraper in the city is about 8,600 meters tall, with a large hall on the top floor, over 1,000 square meters in area. Hargrave and Jiang Tian Chen met here to negotiate the exchange of the final password for the Inheritance Crystal Ball.
World of Thunder[]
The World of Thunder (雷霆世界, lit. Thunderclap World) is a World Master World hidden within a villa on Cang Lan Planet, used by the Universe Mercenary Alliance for its Universe Trainee Mercenary Exam. It has a surface area over 100 times that of Cang Lan Planet. This world was created by Kabu and was excavated by the Universe Mercenary Alliance for use for the trainee exams. After excavating the world and taking its treasures, they sent in a large number of ferocious beasts within for training purposes.
The World of Thunder has gravity 3,900 times that of Earth's, greatly limiting Spirit Masters' ability to spread their Spirit Energy. As the world's foundation is Universe Crystals, its soil, sand, rocks, etc. are all affected by universe energy, making the world heavy, dense, and durable. The sky has 9 sun-like balls during the day, and is pitch-black at night, with only a faint thread of light coming down.
Death Desert[]
The Death Desert (死亡沙漠, lit. Death Desert) is one of the forbidden areas of the World of Thunder; even the ferocious beasts do not dare to live within. One of the three great dangers of the desert is the Death Dust Storm (死亡尘暴, lit. Death Dust Storm), a storm that appears suddenly, engulfing land and sky, easily killing even Stellar Level 9 cultivators. Drilling below or flying above the storm is impossible for Stellar Level cultivators.
Long Suo Mountains[]
The Long Suo Mountains (隆索山脉, lit. Long Suo Mountain Range) is a mountain range with danger concealed everywhere. In addition to the ferocious beasts, the other examinees target this area due to the presence of Demon Moon Lake.
Demon Moon Lake[]
Demon Moon Lake (妖月湖, lit. Demon Moon Lake) is a large lake located within the Long Suo Mountains. Over 100 kilometers wide, it is a large source of water, drawing many ferocious beasts, including the One-Horned Iron Rhinoceros. It is located about 32,000 kilometers away from the Death Desert.
Canyon of Wind and Thunder[]
The Canyon of Wind and Thunder (风雷峡谷, lit. Wind Thunder Canyon) is the core and most dangerous place of the World of Thunder. The canyon lies between mountains covered with large amounts of rocks flying about. There are clouds above the mountains with lightning snakes flying about, as though lightning could strike at any time. One can only obtain Wind Horn Stones in this canyon. There are neither ferocious beasts nor plants in the canyon, just bare stone, dark and black with hints of silver. The winds on the periphery are so strong that lower level Stellar Level cultivators can't walk properly in it. The wind gets stronger the closer one gets to the center; even Universe Level cultivators would die if they flew into the center. Wind Horn Stones fly about in the wind. The most dangerous part of the canyon is the lightning; weaker Domain Masters would die if struck by the lightning, so Universe and Stellar Levels have no chance of survival.
The entrances to the World Within a World on Cang Lan Planet were located in the Canyon of Wind and Thunder.
