Description

The World Within a World on Cang Lan Planet is a hidden world created by the World Master Kabu to hide his treasures. The world is about a million kilometers wide and long, giving it a surface area around 3 times that of the World of Thunder.

To enter the World Within a World, one had to enter one of the black holes in the mountain range near the Canyon of Wind and Thunder. The Universe Trainee Mercenary Exam examinees in Luo Feng's attempt at the exam recognized the entrances and entered to seek the treasures within. As a world that had yet to be excavated, it had a large number of Universe Crystals, which all of the Stellar Level examinees desired.

In addition to the Universe Crystals, the true treasures of Kabu were hidden here as well, stored in a castle that was controlled by an Artificial Intelligence, Lord Wu.

Blue Castle is an ancient castle that has stood for 10 million years at the center of the World of Thunder. It contains the treasures of the World Master Kabu and is guarded by Lord Wu. There is a ball of light above the castle (behind the castle in the donghua), which is the only unnatural construct in the World Within a World. If one attempts to enter the castle without the permission of Lord Wu, they will be struck by electricity that instantly killed a Stellar Level 9 cultivator and left only his burning red armor behind.

Kabu's Treasures

Before dying, Kabu left his remaining treasures in the World Within a World, housed in the Blue Castle. When the doors opened, Lord Wu revealed himself and explained that he was guarding the treasures. There were 68 different treasures, 312 of them in total, since there were multiples of some treasures. Luo Feng acquired 49 treasures, 1 of which (Air Cutter Blade) he gave to Ming Yu. The total profit he made from the sale of the other 48 treasures was 11.23 trillion Universe Coins.

Thunder Stones

Thunder Stones are used to exchange for treasures left by Kabu. Every item has a Thunder Stone cost associated with them. Thunder Stones are tiny stones that are found only in a World Within a World. The Thunder Stones were different from Universe Crystals, having low amounts of energy, so it would be difficult to find them with the energy scanners the examinees used to find Universe Crystals. To facilitate the search, Lord Wu provided a simplified world map that provided the rough location of the Thunder Stones. The only way to acquire Thunder Stones is by digging them from deep within underground.

The Inheritance Crystal Ball (传承水晶球(chuánchéng shuǐjīng qiú)) was supposed to be a crystal ball containing a complete set of Kabu's secret methods of space (probably acquired from an Immortal), making it incredibly valuable to the World Masters of the Black Dragon Mountain Empire. In actuality, the 3 passwords gave the owner access to a fake item created by Lord Wu, a simple recording mocking them for their effort.

Hargrave stood in front of the monitor. An audio file appeared on the display. Hargrave’s face was sullen as he tapped on the screen. In a moment, the audio file which has been stored for 10 million years started to play: “I’m extremely ecstatic to notify you, you’ve….. been duped! Hahaha, so how does it feel, you mad? Did you sacrifice a lot for the three passwords? HAHAHA, I definitely won’t give the three passwords to the same organization. I made you guys work like mad crazy for them and then ruined everything for you in the end. LOL~~”
