Chaotic Origin Bloodline (浑源血脉) comprises various bloodlines of creatures bred in the space outside the Caged World of Swallowed Star. These bloodlines are extremely powerful and terrifying; if a God King touched it directly, they would be completely contaminated and lose control[1].
As a cultivation path, it is sometimes referred to as the Chaotic Origin Bloodline System (浑源血脉体系). To enable the Chaotic Origin Bloodline to be used as a cultivation path, First Ancestor Flame Wind and First Ancestor Thunder cultivated special creatures (such as the Golden Scale Beetle and Camel Mountain Beast), diluting the bloodline through the natural reproduction of those creatures[1]. The creatures created possess rare bloodlines useful for cultivation[2]. Cultivators who follow this path are typically stronger, and their inheritances and resources are very expensive[3]. Their Divine Bodies are also considered extremely strong for their level[4]. First Level God Kings who have mastered multiple Major Branches of a Great Dao can cultivate using this method to gain strength equivalent to a Second Level God King[5]. The Thunder Lineage is considered the strongest Chaotic Origin Bloodline in the Caged World of Swallowed Star[6].
Following this path is dangerous as the bloodline contaminates both the Divine Body, soul, and Willpower, which can cause the cultivator to lose control. Even if they maintain control, their tempers are violent, as seen with Lord Chu Yuan. It is said that following this path has even more flaws when one surpasses Ultimate God King[7], which could be why Emperor Fu decided to reincarnate and follow a different path. As a result, the Flame Wind Ancient Kingdom restricts cultivation through this path, generally prohibiting Primal Chaos Sovereigns from following it, and only allowing God Kings to follow it after a strict review[3]. Within the Flame Wind Ancient Kingdom, the practice of this cultivation method is very cautious, so none of their members have lost control[8].
The Thunder Ancient Kingdom, on the other hand, fully embraces this path[8] and specializes in cultivating through this path[9]. Most of the high-ranking members of the Imperial Families of the Thunder Ancient Kingdom rely on this cultivation path[10]. They also allow Primal Chaos Sovereigns to follow this path despite the danger[3], but those cultivators must have sufficient merits or fully join the ancient kingdom[7]. If a cultivator completely loses control when following this method, they are imprisoned for 10,000 periods to give them a chance to recover; if they cannot regain control within this timeframe, they are executed[7].
