Description[]
Common Arcana (普通至宝, lit. Common/Ordinary Most Valuable/Precious Treasure/Asset, also referred to simply as 至宝; these are called True Treasures in the fan translation) are normally wielded by ordinary Universe Overlords[2], but may also be provided to lower-realm geniuses valued by their clans, organizations, etc[3].
Treasures meet the threshold of Arcana by having at least 3 levels or forms (unlike Top Heavy Treasures, which only have 2)[4]. These forms are activated through Original Law comprehension or Divine Power, depending on the treasure. The ability of Universe Overlords to fully utilize Common Arcana is one of the aspects that set them apart from Advanced Universe Venerables, who generally do not have that level of comprehension[5]. When lower-realm cultivators with sufficiently strong techniques execute their techniques through Common Arcana, the power is substantially increased; for example, Luo Feng, as a World Master, was able to use his Pinnacle Techniques to fight with Limit Immortal Kings once he had Star Map[6]. Arcana can also camouflage the aura of lower-realm cultivators, allowing World Masters to emit the aura of an Immortal, for example[1].
Some Common Arcana may also be used by Top Universe Overlords or the weakest Universe Masters (particularly Palace-type, Soul-type, or Domain-type). Common Arcana can be generally be destroyed by average Universe Masters and are thus worthless to them or those superior to them[7].
In the Human Race exchange, Common Arcana are generally worth about 1 Arcana Point, but those of more valuable types (such as Domain-type, Palace-type, and Soul-type) are worth considerably more, being exchanged for up to 120 Arcana Points[8].
