Divine Power (神力, Shénlì, lit. Divine/God Power/Energy/Strength), also referred to as Immortal God Power (不朽神力, Bùxiǔ shénlì, lit. Immortal Divine/God Power/Energy/Strength) is the power of all cultivators of Immortal-level or higher. Divine Power fuels attacks and serves as the foundation for any Immortal or higher cultivator. It can be used to create avatars and can be stored in valuables or locations (such as a Space of Chaos) to serve other functions. Divine Power can also be used to sense one's surroundings in a way superior to that of using one's eyes, and through this functionality, it can increase the range of Teleportation, as the user can sense space ripples further out if they have stronger Divine Power.
While Immortal Energy is the energy used to create the Divine Bodies of cultivators from Immortal through Universe Master, once a cultivator breaks through to True God, they still possess Divine Power! This makes it different from Immortal Energy, which is the fusion of one's soul with their body. In a sense, all Immortal Energy could be considered Divine Power, but all Divine Power cannot be considered Immortal Energy.
Blurry Divine Power[]
Blurry Divine Power (虚化神力, Xū huà shénlì, lit. Blurry/Void/Hollow Divine Power) is a type of Divine Power primarily used to conduct Soul Attacks. It is also used to communicate in space, where there is no atmosphere. It has some different properties from regular Divine Power. While regular Divine Power and the power of the Sector Beasts mutually consumed each other, Blurry Divine Power could penetrate the bodies of Sector Beasts and damage their souls, rather than being consumed without affecting the beast.[1]
Stages of Divine Power[]
Divine Power first comes into being when one breaks through to Immortal. Their initial reservoir of Divine Power is contingent on their law comprehension, Life Gene Level, and the size of their body. Those World Masters with larger bodies could absorb more universe energy, and absorb it at a faster rate, creating stronger Divine Bodies. This initial breakthrough is when they have the greatest opportunity to absorb universe energy.
As they increase their law comprehension, Life Gene Level, etc., and rise from normal Immortals to Immortal Marquises and Immortal Kings, their Divine Power increases in quantity, but not in quality. Once one becomes a Universe Venerable, their Divine Power increases dramatically in both quantity and quality, multiplying by 100 times and becoming 100 times purer! This meant that even the weakest Universe Venerable had Divine Power equal to a Pinnacle Immortal King with a Life Gene Level of 100.
Further increases in law comprehension, Life Gene Level, etc. can further increase both the quantity and quality of one's Divine Power. Breaking through to Universe Master again increases both the quantity and quality of one's Divine Power, multiplying by 100 times and becoming 100 times purer once more! This meant that the most ordinary Universe Master had Divine Power equal to a Universe Venerable with a Life Gene Level of 10,000.
Breaking through to True God, which inherently requires a Universe Master to reach a Life Gene Level of 10,000, further increases the quality of one's Divine Power, however, whether in the Original Universe or Universe Ocean, True Gods are restricted to Divine Power equal to a Universe Master with a Perfect Life Gene Level. This was why Universe Masters could defend themselves against True Gods while in the Original Universe.
Breaking through to Void True God further increases the quality of one's Divine Power by 100 times[2], but the Original Universe forces one to transcend reincarnation and leave Universe Ocean. Since we do not follow Luo Feng's travels after he breaks through, it is unknown just how much the quantity increases. Since Luo Feng followed the Divine Power Path to become a True God, the quantity of his Divine Power far surpassed other True Gods, and it was only through his Remote Ocean that he was able to accumulate the Divine Power necessary to fuel his Divine Body.
Breaking through to Eternal True God further increases the quality of one's Divine Power by 100 times,[2] but as it is fueled by the user's Miniature Universe, the quantity can vary. It can be presumed that breaking through to Saint and God King also multiplies the quality of Divine Power by 100, since those are foundational changes to the cultivator.
