Etymology[]
- The Novel translated this characters name as Eastbourne. This is incorrect as 伊斯特本 would be translated as Eastbourne and this characters name does not contain a 本 běn.[3].
- 伊斯 the first two characters are generally translated as East when it comes to international naming. Examples include the City Eastbourne in England; Clint Eastwood.[4]

According to Hong[5] he acts like a gentlemen however in fact is quite ambitious.
Biography[]
The fourth Elder of Palace of Gods of War, meaning that he is the 4th strongest cultivator on Earth. He's esteemed by the HR Alliance and a very sophisticated person.
He also owns great Spirit Energy; prior to Luo Feng breaking through to Planetary Level, he was Earth's strongest Spirit Master, and the only spirit master at Planetary Level. He is the strongest warrior of the continent of Europe.
He later arrives in court to witness the trial of Li Yao and Venina Paulinus and is invited to a banquet where he watches Luo Feng kill Li Yao who had just stepped into the Planetary Level just before his execution. He realizes the power of theSoaring Shuttle and grows jealous of Luo Feng, even mentally attacking him until Hong and Lei Shen arrive and use pressure to intimidate the Planetary Level fighters in the room from having any killing intent towards Luo Feng.
He is one of the Eight Heroes of Earth who sacrificed his life for Luo Feng to kill the Golden Horned Beast. Prior to his sacrifice he simply locked himself inside his room and remained silent[6].
Donghua Differences[]
- In the novel, Bonnett and Yan Hai apprehend Li Yao and Venina, preventing them from escaping, but in the donghua, Bonnett's role is played by East.
- After Venina Paulinus and Li Yao landed in Farosi Airport in France, East apprehended the couple as bounties were placed on their heads by Hong after the couple had killed Wang Tong and Li Kan, 2 wargods of HR Alliance who were sent to guard the 2 prisoners on their way to prison.
