Ji Tian Cang and Golden Feather Marquis from the Virtual Universe Company Country Department discuss about Luo Feng taking up the position of Supervisor Envoy. Golden Feather Maruis reminds Ji Tian Cang to keep the Military Department in check. In response, Ji Tian Cang accuses Golden Feather Marquis of falsifying expense reports and greedily pocketing the profits. They worry that Luo Feng will do a thorough audit and uncover some of the things that were not done according to procedure. As the beloved disciple of King Zhenyan, the duo are unable to target Luo Feng should Luo Feng get them into trouble. Ji Tian Cang unhappily blames Po Yu for the Devil Mountain Mission incident which helped propel Luo Feng to the spotlight, making him one of the more popular geniuses of the VUC. Luo Feng's status makes it difficult for the pair to take action against him. They are suddenly interrupted by an informant about a skirmish between the Ganwu Military Border Patrol and the Gold Horn Race in the Labria Star system. The natives of Laos World sank 2 of the Ganwu Army's destroyers.

Ji Tian Cang and Golden Feather Marquis host a welcoming ceremony with many important guests attending. These guests includes the important figures such as Hargrave, Brolin, Jiang Tian Chen, Luo, Ming Yu, Man Luo and many others. As Luo Feng walks up to the center of the stage, Dylan explains that the duo personally invited many important guests to give Luo Feng face. Luo Feng rebukes Dylan, saying that the duo most likely put up a grand display for fear that Luo Feng would dig up some dirt against them.

After shaking hands with Golden Feather Marquis, he remarks that Luo Feng was the last to arrive. Luo Feng apologizes and informs him that he was busy cultivating, to which Golden Feather Marquis responds that he understands, while Ji Tian Cang secretly scoffs at Luo Feng, hoping that Luo Feng would focus on cultivation rather than his supervisory work. Before Ji Tian Cang can introduce the VIP guests, Luo Feng stops her and deliberately calls out Hong as his big brother in front of everyone present. After Ji Tian Cang introduces Luo Feng to everyone, she informs Luo Feng and Hong in private that it was King Fantasy Spirit who prohibits the relationship between Hong and Ji Qing and she cannot do anything about it. This makes Luo Feng hesitate as King Fantasy Spirit is someone even his teacher King Zhenyan has to pay respect to.

As Hong and Luo Feng make their way to the meeting place, they discuss about King Fantasy Spirit's abilities in illusions and her role as one of the top 5 supreme commanders of Universe Mercenary Alliance. Babata adds on that she has 81 Immortal slaves and countless World Masters and Domain Masters under her and that she has only 19 disciples. Ji Qing being one of her disciples means this is a big opportunity for the Ji Family, which is why Ji Tian Cang does not want her cultivation to be disturbed by relationships.

Bu She La brings Hong and Luo Feng to meet King Fantasy Spirit after sizing them up. On the way to King Fantasy Spirit's palace, they are greeted by many seductive girls, but both Hong and Luo Feng's willpower are strong enough resist the temptation. As King Fantasy descends in person, she commends both Hong and Luo Feng for not falling under the influence of her illusions. This startles Luo Feng as he had not realized that they were in an illusion the entire time. King Fantasy Spirit asks Hong is he is afraid, to which Hong replies that he is afraid of not being able to help his home world and his brothers in time, but he is more afraid of not being together with Ji Qing. King Fantasy Spirit is slightly touched and gives Hong two choices, either to leave or to undertake the 18 Desires for Love Fantasy Land test. If Hong fails, he will die but if he succeeds, she will not interfere in their relationship.

Hong takes the test with unwavering determination
Hong with unwavering determination immediately agrees, which greatly surprises King Fantasy Spirit's other disciples as they think Hong does not have what it takes to survive the test. King Fantasy is also startled and asks Hong if he wants to change his mind, but Hong insists on taking the test. Luo Feng tries to stop Hong, but seeing Hong's stubbornness, he can only quietly support Hong's decision Ji Qing rushes to stop him just before he can undertake the test. Despite Ji Qing's pleas to avoid taking the test and save his life, Hong resolutely decides to undertake the test. Ji Qing has no choice but to accept Hong's decision and hope he can make it out alive.

In the 1st level of the 18 Desires test, Hong is surrounded by beauties, by Hong's will remains unwavering and he uses his spear and Domain to break through to the next level. A disciple of King Fantasy Spirit tells Luo Feng who is watching what happens, not to be too optimistic and as long as life exits, desire exists. As long as desire exists, so does weakness, and King Fantasy Spirit's illusion targets the weakness in the heart. She continues saying that the 1st 9 floors are easy to pass, but the last 6 floors are notoriously difficult to pass. Hong relives the Golden Horned Beast nightmare and faces against an illusion/flashback of Bing Shan, Ye Shou and Yao Rao.
