Ferocious Beast is one of the two main categories of beasts in the Original Universe, the other being the Demon Race. The primary difference between Ferocious Beasts and the Demon Race is the Ferocious Beasts' low intelligence[3]. They are strong, but have low intelligence, so they could not learn, regardless of if they were brutal and savage or gentle.
The Mutant Beasts on Earth are too intelligent to be Ferocious Beasts, as evidenced by the negotiations between Hong and the beasts, and the planning and commanding of which they are capable. The Mutant Beasts are actually of the Demon Race, but had no interaction with the universe to breakthrough to the Stellar Level.
