Genetic Energy Weapons (原力兵器, lit. Origin/Source Energy/Power Weapon) are weapons used by Warriors and those using their Warrior capabilities to battle. Unlike ordinary weapons, which have power due their material (influencing sharpness, mass, etc.), Genetic Energy Weapons, in addition to having power due to those physical attributes, also allow cultivators to channel their body's Genetic Energy. Similar to how true Spirit Weapons allow Spirit Masters to maximize their Spirit Energy, Genetic Energy Weapons allow Warriors to maximize their Genetic Energy. Depending on their quality, a Genetic Energy Weapon may be easier or more difficult to use, which also dictates their value and cost.
As Genetic Energy Weapons increase in strength and quality, they will begin to have Original Law engravings carved on them, making it easier for the user to utilize those Original Laws. This means that even if a user has a relatively lower level of comprehension of a law, the weapon can assist them in executing attacks using that law (Unnamed Three Axe Mountain General mentions this when acquiring the Air Cutter Blade).
The term Genetic Energy Weapon ceases to be used when dealing with weapons used by Immortals and stronger cultivators. This may be due to Immortals having bodies of Immortal Energy, which contains Original Law energy of the law they used to break through. Additionally, they require weapons that can withstand Immortal battles, which can easily destroy planets, stars, and later star systems and galaxies. Original Law engravings are present on Heavy Treasures and Arcana, but the physical weapons used are no longer referred to as Genetic Energy Weapons.
Ordinary Level 3 Genetic Energy Weapons (suitable for use through Universe Level) sell for 20 to 30 billion Black Dragon Coins[3]. Level 4 weapons (suitable for use through Domain Master) sell for close to 100 billion Ganwu Coins. The average price of Level 5 weapons (suitable for use through World Master) sell for close to 100 billion Universe Coins!
