Description[]
The Great Daos (大道) are paths that cultivators can follow to become God Kings. In the Caged World of Swallowed Star, there are 9 Great Daos[1]. The Great Daos are also connected, and many have overlapping components[2]. Before one breaks through to God King, the Great Daos are invisible and intangible, so they can only be seen through indirect methods. Some God Kings personally show the Great Dao to their disciples[3], the Ancient Kingdoms provide opportunities to their elites to view the Great Daos[1], some rare treasures can manifest part of the Great Dao[3], and if one is able to control the Original Universe, they can view the Great Dao of the Life Origin[3].
Major Branches[]
Each Great Dao comprises multiple Major Branches (大分支). The Major Branches are connected to each other, and have their own subcomponents and mysteries. When a cultivator has completely comprehended and merged those subcomponents and mysteries into one Major Branch, they break through to God King[4]. Those cultivators are considered First Level God Kings. First Level God Kings are able to glimpse of part of Great Dao[5], allowing them to work on comprehending other Major Branches.
Once one can completely merge 2 or more Major Branches, they are qualified to be a Second Level God King[6]. Merely mastering all Major Branches of a Great Dao is not sufficient for one to be considered a Second Level God King[7]. Second Level God Kings are able to glimpse the Complete Great Dao, allowing them to mobilize the power of the Great Dao to a certain extent[5].
Complete Great Dao[]
By mastering and completely merging all Major Branches of a Great Dao, a cultivator can recreate the Complete Great Dao (完整的大道). A cultivator who completes this is considered an Ultimate God King (or Third Level God King), capable of becoming an Emperor of the Flame Wind Ancient Kingdom or a Monarch of the Thunder Ancient Kingdom.
God Kings who complete this step are stronger than those who become Ultimate God King lifeforms through external resources (such as Chaotic Origin Bloodline)[8]. They are not affected by causality, and their actions leave no trace[9]. With their Complete Great Dao, they can weaken all attacks, including Willpower attacks!
