Description[]

Mechanical Treasures (机械流宝(Jīxiè liú bǎo), lit. Machine-class/grade Treasure, or 机械类宝物(Jīxiè lèi bǎowù), lit. Machine-class/type Treasure, also called Machine-type or Automaton-type Treasure in the fan translation) is a class of Treasure normally wielded by True Gods and stronger cultivators, but high-valued geniuses of lower realms may also have them.

Mechanical Treasures are highly valuable items on the Continent of Origin and places that follow the Continent of Origin's cultivation methods, such as the World of Jin. They require much less Divine Power to be operated, and sometimes do not require strong Original Law comprehension. Unlike other treasures, which emanate power that reveals their level, Mechanical Treasures often give off ordinary auras and have ordinary appearances[2]. When Mechanical Treasures appeared in Universe Ocean after the appearance of the World of Jin, they substantially increased the power of the great beings, allowing those at True God Level 8 to exhibit True God Level 10 power! While they provide extraordinary assistance to True Gods, Void True Gods, and Eternal True Gods, they largely lose their impact once cultivators break through to Primal Chaos Sovereign.

The most powerful Mechanical Treasures used by Eternal True Gods are typically worth between 500,000 and 5,000,000 Universe Sands[3].

Types of Mechanical Treasures[]

Mechanical Treasures can be divided into multiple groups, with the main ones being single-body treasures, group-type treasures, and legion-type treasures.

Single-Body Treasures[]

Single-Body Treasures are the most common Mechanical Treasures. As the name implies, they are meant to be used by a single individual, substantially raising their power. The highest-quality single-body treasures allow the user to exhibit power from cultivation realms exceeding their own; for example, the Chaotic Golden Wings allow Eternal True Gods to access some of the power of a Primal Chaos Sovereign.

Group-Type Treasures[]

Group-Type Treasures are typically used by relatively small units of cultivators. They are seen in the World of Jin and may be considered lower-tier examples of Legion-Type Treasures, but this isn't explicitly stated. By gathering and condensing the power of hundreds of True Gods, a True God-level group-type mechanical treasure could be used to kill a Void True God.

Legion-Type Treasures[]

Legion-Type Treasures are only explicitly seen on the Continent of Origin. They are used by important official forces (city guards, military units) and, depending on their quality, may be piloted by large numbers of True Gods (with a Void True God leader), or Void True Gods (with an Eternal True God leader). The most powerful of these treasures were forged by God Kings, and can be piloted by multiple Eternal True Gods!
