Metal Lifeform (金属生命, Jīnshǔ shēngmìng, lit. Metal Life) is one of the many types of lifeforms in Swallowed Star. As implied in the name, they are not Flesh and Blood Lifeforms, but are instead made of metal, making their bodies incredibly durable. They can be divided into tens of millions of types.[1] Metal Lifeforms typically do not have souls, and thus do not fear Soul Attacks,[2] however it may be possible for them to have souls (the Devil's Voice God General Inheritance notes that whether the creature is a Flesh and Blood Lifeform, Energy Lifeform, Metal Lifeform, etc., as long as they have a soul, they can use that inheritance to become a Devil's Voice God General).[3] Some species in this race can be used as auxiliary lifeforms, capable of serving as armor, weapons, or even fuse with spaceships, similar to some Plant Lifeforms.[4] The Automaton Race is a race of Intelligent Life that uses metal bodies, so they qualify as metal lifeforms.
