In the novel he is described as a tall and sturdy man, his entire body greenish-black, almost like it was made of steel. On the left side of his chest, on his battle robe, is a Universe Mercenary Alliance 2 Star Mercenary medal.
In the donghua, he looks like a tall and sturdy Earthling with dark-grey hair, wearing a suit of full-body armor, including something of a helmet. He appears to have secret engraving lines on his face.
Biography[]
Ming Yu is a Domain Master from the Virtual Universe Company, stationed at the Black Dragon Mountain Empire department, one of the external departments. He is also a commander from Three Axe Mountain, as well as a two-star member of the Universe Mercenary Alliance. Initially when Luo Feng, Hong, and Shen were training at Killing Fields, he observed them for 1 month before calling them over for a meeting at a restaurant in Virtual Universe. He wanted to recruit them to VUC as Internal Members, but settled for recruiting them as External Members and selling them Bloodline Evolution Agents.
When the trio entered the World Within a World on Cang Lan Planet, Ming Yu contacted Luo Feng in hopes of getting one of Kabu's treasures from the team. Another of his subordinates, Bendi, broke through to Universe Level and acquired the Sky Fire Wheel, but was killed by Brolin's forces. He was delighted when Luo Feng presented him with the Air Cutter Blade, and ultimately gave Luo Feng 100 Life Planets, 20 billion Universe Coins, and a promise to kill Nuolan Shan in exchange for it.
He brought Jiang Tian Chen and Time World Master Luo and introduced them to Luo Feng, Hong, and Thunder God when Luo wanted to meet Hong.
Cultivation[]
Since Ming Yu managed to damage Nuolan Shan's D3 spaceship in the Donghua[3], it logically follows that he must be at least a Domain Master Level 4 or higher. This battle does not take place in the Novel, so we cannot draw any conclusions about his specific cultivation level from the source material.
