Appearance[]
A giant monster emitting black light from every inch of its body. It had two ferocious heads, and on each head was a single eye, a nose, and a mouth. It had one pair of arms and one pair of legs and was completely naked. Its tongue could sweep its entire body.
After becoming the Sector Beast King, it is incomparably beautiful, even more beautiful than a Zerg Race empress. It is a giant, fair-skinned, flawless lifeform with two arms and two legs, a mouth, a nose, and two eyes, but no ears. It has two horns on its forehead that point forward, and its skin condenses into armor. It looked holy, beautiful, and natural, containing supreme mysteries, and without its horns, it would have looked like a lovable child. With those two horns, however, it had supreme royal power.
Biography[]
Morosa was the first Sector Beast to leave the Land of Darkness within Tilted Peak Realm and enter the Universe Ocean. It was injured in a battle with Bei Di and escaped the Sector Beast nest, planning to devour Miniature Universes and cultivators alike to increase its power.[8] After meeting with two of its slaves, King Zhen Jia and Qiu Yan Ancestor God, to obtain information about Universe Ocean and confirm that its disguise was accurate, it traveled to Universe Ocean.
Before entering Universe Ocean, it learned about the emergence of the World of Jin, the increase in strength of those who roam Universe Ocean, and the strongest cultivator in Universe Ocean: Luo Feng. After learning that Luo Feng killed Great Thunder Star Master and the hundreds of Universe Masters from the Coalition Army and Purple Moon Holy Land, it understood Luo Feng's strength and knew to avoid him before becoming stronger.[9]
Entering Universe Ocean[]
After a half a month touring Universe Ocean, devouring the chaotic airflow at will, Morosa arrived at the Miniature Universe of Firefly True Master and began devouring it.[10] Upon realizing that his Miniature Universe was being devoured, Firefly True Master sent one of his subordinate Universe Masters to investigate. Upon confirming that a Sector Beast had arrived, he reached out to the 8 Overlords of Universe Ocean for assistance. Nine-Headed Devil Master led the team of 9 True Gods, which included Blood Orchid Ancestor and Firefly True Master, to battle against Morosa.[11] Despite their efforts, not only did Morosa kill Firefly True Master, but it also escaped from their encirclement by using its 99 Bodies technique.[12] Satisfied after devouring half of the origin of Firefly True Master's Miniature Universe, Morosa slowly converted those energies into its own before appearing again.
Cat and Mouse Game[]
After converting the energies it absorbed from Firefly True Master's Miniature Universe origin (which took about 30 years), Morosa appeared at the Miniature Universe of Rampaging Devil God.[13] Understanding that if it stayed too long swallowing one Miniature Universe's origin, it would be confronted by a group of True Gods possibly stronger than the previous group, it only stayed for a day before leaving. After spending a half a year converting the energies absorbed from Rampaging Devil God's Miniature Universe, Morosa appeared again in Universe Ocean, absorbing from Pupil Devil God's.[14]
For 11 years, Morosa played this game, absorbing parts of 20 Miniature Universes and escaping after a day. Due to the sheer distance between these locations, and the cooperation of at least one traitorous True God (who informed Morosa of Luo Feng's movements) it was impossible for a team to catch it in time. At this point, Morosa was about as strong as Nine-Headed Devil Master, so it decided to go to Purple Moon Holy Land and attempt to devour that Miniature Universe's origin, but the strength of that Miniature Universe (as a Void True God, Purple Moon Ancestor is much stronger than the True Gods of Universe Ocean) made it a very slow process, so it couldn't absorb much, despite how satisfying the absorption was.[15]
First Battle with Luo Feng[]
Three years after attempting to absorb the origin of the Purple Moon Holy Land Universe, Morosa encountered Luo Feng's Golden Horned Beast Body, who had made his movements a secret in order to prevent Morosa from knowing his whereabouts. While devouring the Miniature Universe origin of Hai Ya True Master, Morosa noticed that the surrounding space was sealed, and saw the Universe Master wearing a suit of golden armor: Luo Feng.[16] After an extended battle that forced Morosa to use its Blood Burning and 99 Bodies techniques, and forced Luo Feng to utilize Green Smoke Chain, Snowflake World, and even Divine Eye Secret Technique, Morosa escaped from Luo Feng.[17] After this battle, Morosa became even more cautious, choosing to disengage whenever encountering one of the Eight Great Overlords of Universe Ocean, but 3 years after fighting Luo Feng, Morosa was forced to fight Nine Remoteness Master, who immediately sealed the space and transformed into an ocean with a diameter of over 1 light-year. Splitting its body in two and flying at its top speed in opposite directions, Morosa was able to escape, but it was very scared of facing Nine Remoteness Master again![18]
Second Battle with Luo Feng[]
Four years after its first battle with Luo Feng's Golden Horned Beast Body, Morosa was confronted by Luo Feng's Golden Horned Beast Body again, while attempting to absorb Rampaging Devil God's Miniature Universe Origin. Morosa again escaped, albeit weakened, to attempt to devour another Miniature Universe's origin.
Third Battle with Luo Feng[]
Three years after its second battle with Luo Feng's Golden Horned Beast body, Morosa was confronted by Luo Feng's Star Tower team, with his Remote Ocean and Mosha bodies, while again devouring Rampaging Devil God's Miniature Universe origin. This time, with the Mosha body wearing Wu Qi God and the Remote Ocean body wearing Shi Wu Wings, Luo Feng was able to use his strongest combat ability and Star Tower to prevent Morosa's initial escape. Using the Blood Shadow Blade to execute his Sea of Golden Light and Golden Horn of Beasts techniques, Luo Feng pierced through Morosa's true form, causing black blood to flow in the Whirlpool World of Star Tower. Forced to the brink, Morosa used its Blood Burning and Sector Light Passageway techniques to escape Luo Feng, albeit at the cost of reverting from Stage 3 to the pinnacle of Stage 1.[19]
Morosa's Revenge[]
After being defeated by Luo Feng, Morosa returned to the Sector Beast nest in hopes of devouring other Sector Beasts to return to Stage 3. It was successfully able to devour a Stage 2 Sector Beast, enabling it to return to Stage 2, but that dying Sector Beast informed the rest of the nest that Morosa had regressed to Stage 1, making it a target of its rivals, such as Bei Di. Upon learning that Bei Di was Stage 4, Morosa knew it would take a lot to become the Sector Beast King. Due to its victim sharing Morosa's strength with the others, the Sector Beast nest was no longer a place that Morosa could use to increase its strength. Enraged at Luo Feng for cutting off its path to become the Sector Beast King, Morosa plotted its revenge.[20]
Meeting with its slave, Nine-Headed Devil Master, Morosa learned that Luo Feng became a True God, which made it impossible for Morosa to defeat him, but also meant that Luo Feng would be stuck in place for months, completing the construction of his Miniature Universe. Morosa reappeared in Universe Ocean, beginning to devour the Miniature Universe origin of Zhen Devil God. After devouring half of the origin, it was confronted by a troop of 12 True Gods, causing it to flee. Over the course of some months, Morosa devoured parts of the origin of 9 Miniature Universes, and after some months, it converted those energies into its own, reaching the pinnacle of Stage 2.[21]
After meeting with Nine-Headed Devil Master one more time, Morosa decided to share everything it knew about Luo Feng with the other Sector Beasts, mentally transmitting the message that it was about to die in battle with Luo Feng, and that the only way for True God Luo Feng to be defeated would be to give birth to a Stage 5 or higher Sector Beast. After sharing this message, Morosa arrived at the Miniature Universe of Ancestor Yuan and began to devour its origin. Due to the suppression of Ancestor Yuan, it was extremely easy for Morosa to do this; Ancestor Yuan suspected that after an hour, 80% of the origin would be devoured, eliminating his chance of becoming a Void True God!
The powerful True Gods of the Human Race, including Primal Chaos City Leader, Peng Gong True God, and Darkness True God, arrived at the Miniature Universe of Ancestor Yuan, defending it by battling Morosa. Playing cat and mouse again, Morosa ran from location to location around the Miniature Universe, devoured for some seconds, then ran away whenever it encountered a True God. After about an hour, Luo Feng arrived and effortlessly trapped Morosa in Star Tower.[22]
Enslaved[]
Trapped by Luo Feng in Star Tower, Morosa conversed with him, sharing its name and its plan for vengeance. Morosa then attempted to self-destruct, but was easily restrained by the combination of One Thought Void Space, the sealing space of Star Tower, and the power of the origin of Luo Feng's Miniature Universe. Morosa then taunted Luo Feng, stating that trapping it in Star Tower would not prevent the birth of the Sector Beast King, and in response to this taunting, Luo Feng attempted to enslave it. Despite his power and techniques, he was unable to do so, as the godly power he used was the opposite of the power used by the Sector Beasts! Luo Feng trained and learned Three Stars Realm, the best soul enslaving technique in the World of Jin, and, using the ability of Intangible and Formless to transform his energies into those of a Sector Beast, enslaved Morosa. When it couldn't self-destruct, it shared its predicament with all of the remaining Sector Beasts, and when it was enslaved, the Sector Beasts knew it was now a slave, and their mortal enemy.[23]
Luo Feng's Ally[]
After being enslaved by Luo Feng, Morosa became a very important asset in the battle against the Sector Beasts. Morosa informed Luo Feng of its communications to the Sector Beasts before being enslaved, and detailed the status of the Sector Beasts and their nest to the best of its ability. Morosa explained the strength of the Sector Beasts and the abilities they acquire at each stage, giving Luo Feng a complete picture of the depth of the situation.
The World of Jin opened again 1,890 years after Luo Feng enslaved Morosa. At this point, Luo Feng acquired more treasures from the World of Jin and traveled to the Land of Darkness, with Morosa in his Miniature Universe to give him direction. With Morosa's connection to the Sector Beasts, it was able to sense everything within the nest and give approximate locations of each Sector Beast. Using its innate sensory ability, Morosa led Luo Feng to Bei Di, and the two battled, with Bei Di eventually self-destructing to avoid enslavement.
Through his strategy and the use of Morosa's detection ability, Luo Feng eventually caused 8.3 million Sector Beasts to gather in one place to attack him. At this point, Luo Feng used the power of the origin within the Shi Wu Wings to execute an attack through the 6th pair of wings, which rivaled an attack of a Saint. This attack killed all 8.3 million Sector Beasts who had gathered, causing the remaining 900,000 to split into two forces, escaping into Universe Ocean.
With Morosa's knowledge, Luo Feng learned that the traitor within Universe Ocean was Nine-Headed Devil Master, so he traveled to his Miniature Universe and killed him. Morosa later informed Luo Feng of the 450,000 Sector Beasts traveling to attack his Miniature Universe, and the 450,000 Sector Beasts who started killing each other in an attempt to birth a Stage 6 Sector Beast. Fortunately, Luo Feng's Miniature Universe was truly perfect, and there was no way for the Sector Beasts to devour it, so he was able to focus on battling the Sector Beasts. Luo Feng enslaved who he could enslave, and those who he couldn't enslave, self-destructed to avoid enslavement. Eventually, Luo Feng enslaved 8 Sector Beasts, and fed them to Morosa, causing Morosa to become a Stage 5 Sector Beast.
Final Battle[]
Morosa was one of the two final Sector Beasts, the other being the Stage 6 Mo He. Mo He was strong enough to kill Morosa in a single blow, and the supreme law would not allow Morosa to hide within Star Tower while Luo Feng fought Mo He. As a result, Luo Feng had to both defend Morosa and battle Mo He. After an intense battle, during with Mo He used its ultimate technique, Destruction of Reincarnation, through the Xeon Arcana Divine Axe that it obtained by killing Huge Axe Creator, Luo Feng was able to emerge victorious by executing the Lie Yuan Technique. At the conclusion of the battle, the energies of all of the Sector Beasts infused Morosa's body, elevating it to top-tier Stage 6, and then, with the infusion of Mo He's energy, Morosa became the Sector Beast King.
Sector Beast King Morosa[]
After absorbing Mo He's energy, Morosa became the Sector Beast King. This resulted in a complete transformation, with Morosa transforming into a transparent, giant white life form. Its body was perfect, with two hands and two legs, a mouth, a nose, and two eyes, but no ears. It looked holy and beautiful, even more than the most beautiful humans or Zerg Race mother empresses. If it weren't for its horns, it would have looked like an innocent and lovable child, but with those two horns on its forehead, pointing forward, it had the supreme ruling power of the throne.[24]
Morosa obtained the Intangible and Formless ability, and of course had all other abilities of the Sector Beasts. Upon its rebirth as the Sector Beast King, Morosa had the strength of a Void True God, with no upper limit on its power![24] With the final battle concluded, Morosa followed Luo Feng's order and traveled with him to the Purple Moon Holy Land Universe, where Morosa then devoured the origin of that universe, taking only one day to do so.[25] Morosa also killed the final Sector Beast slave, Skeleton Master, with a single thought, and then stayed within Luo Feng's Miniature Universe.[26]
End of the Original Universe[]
In the six trillion eras after the Sector Beast War, Morosa helped Luo Feng with his comprehension of the Origin of Destruction, and also continued to get stronger, reaching the level of an Eternal True God![27] Morosa served as Luo Feng's guard within his Miniature Universe, and managed Nine Sectors Mountain, a region where Luo Feng cultivated in solitude. Morosa continued to stand guard for 360,000 eras after the destruction of the Original Universe, as Luo Feng was immersed in comprehension, preventing any great being from disturbing Luo Feng.
Morosa ended the story as Luo Feng's companion in the journey to the Continent of Origin.
Arrival on the Continent of Origin[]
After Luo Feng transcended reincarnation, he and Morosa traveled through the Reincarnation Channel to the Continent of Origin. Morosa serves as Luo Feng's sole servant on the continent until Luo Feng accepts Moyu Qingyan as a servant. As Sector Beasts are the enemies of all living creatures, Luo Feng orders Morosa to conceal his strength and aura (which he can do since he has a Perfect Divine Body and thus the Intangible and Formless ability) to prevent being detected. Morosa initially displays power of a Void True God, and those who interact with Luo Feng notice that they do not have a normal master-servant relationship[28].
Morosa stands by whenever Luo Feng fights Eternal True Gods, offering assistance when he feels Luo Feng is in danger, and takes action in some of his battles. In the battle with Ying Cang, Morosa prevents the assassin's escape by swallowing him into his mouth, instantly killing him[29]. In the battle with Blood Cloud, Morosa attempts to do the same, but Blood Cloud breaks through to Primal Chaos Sovereign, forcing Luo Feng to defeat him with the Lie Yuan Technique[30].
Since the Sector Beast King is born with the Great Dao of the Destruction Origin, Morosa does not have to train in law comprehension or technique creation; he will eventually reach the Primal Chaos Sovereign realm by devouring Eternal True God corpses (the quickest way available to him) or absorbing energy from the world. The path of devouring Eternal True God corpses is quicker than Luo Feng's path to Primal Chaos Sovereign, but is slower than the path of devouring Eternal True God Miniature Universes. However, since that method is unique to Sector Beasts, taking that path would result in his and Luo Feng's deaths.
As of this point of the story, it is confirmed that Morosa has devoured the corpses of Hei Duo Mo[31], Lai Mo[32], Mu Yang[32], Ying Cang[33], Mei Wu Qi[33], Qian Yu Chong[33], Yu Tian Yi[34], Yu Tian Hu[34], Zan Yun[34], and Blood Cloud. He likely also devoured the corpse of Lord Thousand Eyes. After completing his digestion of Blood Cloud, he broke through to the Primal Chaos Sovereign realm[35].
Later, after devouring the corpses of Great Sage Beiyu, Great Sage Black Mist, and the Golden Scale Beetle provided by Emperor Chu, Morosa broke through to the God King realm[5].

- In Swallowed Star, Morosa is always referred to with the gender-neutral pronoun 'it' (它), but in Swallowed Star 2, Morosa is explicitly referred to as 'he' (他)
Strength[]
As a Stage 3 Sector Beast upon its arrival in Universe Ocean, Morosa was slightly stronger than Blood Orchid Ancestor and slightly weaker than Nine-Headed Devil Master[36]. However, due to its special abilities, such as devouring Divine Power, Black Mist Cocoon, 99 Bodies, Silent Scream, Blood Burning Method, and Sector Light Passageway, Morosa was extremely difficult to fight and even more difficult to capture or kill[36]. Its soul attacks in particular were incredibly powerful; even as a Stage 3 Sector Beast, its Willpower and soul attacks were on the level of an Eternal True God[37]! As a rival to Bei Di, Morosa could be considered one of the Sector Beasts with the strongest foundation, Willpower, and techniques[38].
After its battle with Nine-Headed Devil Master's team, Morosa had devoured some origins of Miniature Universes, increasing its strength to the level of Nine-Headed Devil Master[39]. However, when escaping Luo Feng at the conclusion of their 3rd battle, Morosa was forced to use Sector Light Passageway, reverting it to the pinnacle of Stage 1[19].
When Morosa returned to the Sector Beast nest and devoured an injured Stage 2 Sector Beast, it returned to Stage 2[20], and after converting and absorbing more energies from Miniature Universe origins, it reached pinnacle Stage 2 again[21].
Morosa reached limit Stage 5 after devouring the 8 other enslaved Sector Beasts under Luo Feng's control, and due to the influence of the supreme laws, it faced no obstacles, as a Sector Beast King had to be born[40]. As a Stage 5 Sector Beast, it innately learned Destruction, and retained its previous abilities, including Sector Light Passageway and Sector Light Domain. When a Stage 5 Sector Beast performed Destruction, it was strong enough to destroy a Miniature Universe, so you could consider it comparable to the attack power of a Limit Void True God[41].
At the conclusion of the battle between Luo Feng and Mo He, Morosa absorbed the energies of all of the Sector Beasts, becoming the Sector Beast King. Morosa confirmed that it was the equivalent to a Void True God at this point, but with the special ability to not be forced into transcending reincarnation[42]. The promotion to king was truly transcendent, as it retained the ability 10 Million Bodies, and it could breed many powerful warriors, each much stronger than a Stage 6 Sector Beast[24]! It also obtained the ability Intangible and Formless, and could continue to comprehend the origin of destruction to get stronger. It only took Morosa one day to devour the Purple Moon Holy Land Universe, something that would have required 100,000 years for a Stage 2 or Stage 3 Sector Beast[42]!
After six trillion eras of continued growth, Morosa reached the level of an Eternal True God[27]. If allowed to fully mature as the Sector Beast King, Morosa will surpass even a God King[24].
On the Continent of Origin[]
On the Continent of Origin, Morosa initially has the strength of an extremely powerful Eternal True God, and with his special abilities, he is able to even kill great beings like Ying Cang in one move. Luo Feng considers Morosa's Realm to be higher than his, despite him knowing multiple Primal Chaos Sovereign Techniques himself. With his Perfect Divine Body, he had a height of 18 billion kilometers (in the Continent of Origin environment) when at the Eternal True God realm, and his height limit at the Primal Chaos Sovereign realm exceeds 1 trillion kilometers[35].
As a perfect lifeform, at every realm, Morosa's strength can be considered the ultimate level, perfect in every aspect. With his unique skills, he can hide his true strength while still suppressing the vast majority of those in the same cultivation realm. His strength grows comprehensively, with his body evolution, soul growth, willpower, and comprehension of the Origin of Destruction all increasing at the same time. As a Second Level God King, his willpower reached the bottleneck of the Limit God King[6]! After reaching Ultimate God King, he naturally comprehended 36 Ultimate God King Techniques[7]!
