Cultivation Ranks[]

Etymology[]

  • 混沌主宰
  • 混沌: Primal Chaos. Refers to both Chaos in itself and the state of the Universe in its earliest Stage.
  • 主宰 Baidu: Supreme Being; Sovereign; Dominator

In the World of Jin it is called 圣, Saint or Holy.

Description[]

Primal Chaos Sovereigns (also called Saints) are capable of controlling the Law of Chaos, the origin of all Original Laws. Once a cultivator has mastered Chaos Law, they can turn their True God's Heart into a Chaos Space. Alternatively, a cultivator can reach this level through the Bloodline Cultivation Method used on the Continent of Origin[1]. Both paths are incredibly difficult; while in its prime, the World of Jin had many Eternal True Gods, they barely had over 10 Saints[2]. Including Luo Feng, only 13 of the 193 Duan Dong River heirs reached this level[3].

Primal Chaos Sovereigns who break through using the Bloodline Cultivation Method, no matter how special their secret methods, are not taller than 10 billion kilometers on the Continent of Origin[4]. It is implied that those with an Infinite Divine Body have a maximum height of 360 billion kilometers, while those with the Perfect Divine Body have a maximum height of 1.8 trillion kilometers on the Continent of Origin[5].

Primal Chaos Sovereigns have a number of life-saving secret methods that make it so that even a God King cannot guarantee fully killing them[6]. As a result, they are treated with some respect even by God Kings. These life-saving secret methods also enable them to instantly disintegrate their true bodies if necessary, so it is rare to obtain the corpse of a Primal Chaos Sovereign[7]. Some Primal Chaos Sovereigns are actually reincarnated God Kings, so God Kings are hesitant to make an enemy of them. On the Continent of Origin, Primal Chaos Sovereigns who choose to affiliate with a God-Kingdom are granted a Chaos State as their fiefdom, and a large infrastructure is set up to support them. The presence of a Primal Chaos Sovereign within a family makes them a Primal Chaos Clan, giving them high status within second/third-class God-Kingdoms. Due to the relative lack of God Kings on the Continent of Origin, Primal Chaos Sovereigns handle many key affairs of the continent[8].

In this realm, cultivators would have to start fusing the branches in the dao in which they specialized. To survive the Great Apocalypse, they need comprehension in all branches of the dao. In the next era, they will only begin to awaken after a God King has appeared and, will die at the end of the era due to lacking their miniature universes.

Normal Eternal True Gods are in a sense Cosmos Gods who has yet to reach the cosmos law and cannot reach the Saint realm without one branch.

Breakthrough[]

When following the Bloodline Cultivation Method, an Eternal True God breaks through when their bloodline transforms into the state of chaos, while when following the law comprehension method, they can only break through after completely mastering the Law of Chaos[9]. The Realm requirements to break through to Primal Chaos Sovereign through the law comprehension method are higher than using the Bloodline Cultivation Method[10], but this also means those of the law lineage are typically stronger. Typically, cultivators master secret methods of the Law of Chaos type, allowing them to experience some basic mysteries of the Law of Chaos. Extremely powerful Eternal True Gods create Primal Chaos Sovereign Techniques, accumulating experience and comprehension until they are able to fully master the Law of Chaos. On the Continent of Origin, Eternal True Gods strive to live in Large Cities, planning to use the proximity to the Chaos Ruins to more clearly sense the Law of Chaos.

After breaking through, the cultivator must expand and transform their Miniature Universe, transform their Divine Power, and condense a more powerful, Primal Chaos realm Divine Body. The Miniature Universe will have a diameter between 100 billion and 1 trillion light-years[8]. Additionally, they must practice their secret methods, causing it to take a certain amount of time to consolidate their new strength.

3 Intermediate Primal Chaos Sovereign Di Chu Yu (after growing his Divine Body to its limit)
4 Top Primal Chaos Sovereign Lord Jiu Jiang

Beginning Primal Chaos Sovereign[]

Beginning Primal Chaos Sovereigns (usually referred to as 新晋混沌境(Xīn jìn hùndùn jìng), lit. Newly-Promoted Primal Chaos Realm) are cultivators who recently broke through to Primal Chaos Sovereign. Typically they stay in seclusion, practicing combat secret methods, life-saving secret methods, body-refining secret methods, etc., to consolidate their overall ability. Generally, they do not venture into the outside world until they have completed this process[11].

Ordinary Primal Chaos Sovereign[]

Ordinary Primal Chaos Sovereigns (普通混沌境(Pǔtōng hùndùn jìng), lit. Ordinary Primal Chaos Realm) are cultivators who have completed their strength consolidation after breaking through. They are rare; there may only be one per 10 Primal Chaos Sovereigns. They can be considered the lowest level of Primal Chaos realm strength[11].

Intermediate Primal Chaos Sovereign[]

Intermediate Primal Chaos Sovereigns (混沌境中层(Hùndùn jìng zhōngcéng), lit. Primal Chaos Realm Middle Level) are your general Primal Chaos Sovereigns. They have completed their strength consolidation and, due to their infinite lifespan, have accumulated enough in the areas of Realm, Divine Body, and Willpower to reach the middle level of this realm. Primal Chaos Sovereigns with an Infinite Divine Body grown to its limit reach this level of power, even without practicing secret methods or increasing their realm[11].

Third-Class Lord[]

Third-Class Lords (三等侯(Sān děng hóu)) are Ordinary or Intermediate Primal Chaos Sovereigns with the good fortune to be born to one of the Imperial Families of the Ancient Kingdoms. They can be considered almost abandoned by the Imperial Families, only given the basic resources, but they still have a high level of influence due to their background. They are provided a small city as a fiefdom, with a small cave residence and a few personal guards. They are not allowed to have Guest Officials[12].

Top Primal Chaos Sovereign[]

Top Primal Chaos Sovereigns (混沌境顶尖(Hùndùn jìng dǐngjiān), lit. Primal Chaos Realm Top) are elite Primal Chaos Sovereigns, famed for their strength. To reach this level, one must have powerful secret techniques, accumulate a substantial level of Realm, a strong Divine Body, and Willpower typically at Pinnacle Primal Chaos Sovereign level. Those with an Infinite Divine Body are regarded as this level when they have grown their body to its limit and improved comprehensively in all aspects[11]. Those with a Perfect Divine Body are equivalent to this level when they have grown their body to its limit[13].

Second-Class Lord[]

Second-Class Lords (二等侯(Èr děng hóu)) are Top Primal Chaos Sovereigns with the good fortune to be born to one of the Imperial Families of the Ancient Kingdoms. They receive many more resources than Third-Class Lords, and have a higher status.

Pinnacle Primal Chaos Sovereign[]

Pinnacle Primal Chaos Sovereigns (混沌境巅峰(Hùndùn jìng diānfēng), lit. Primal Chaos Realm Pinnacle) are, under normal circumstances, the highest level of Primal Chaos Sovereign within second/third-class God-Kingdoms. They are touching the edge of the God King realm, and generally have only one bottleneck remaining. Unfortunately, this is an incredibly difficult bottleneck to break through. Cultivators at this level are highly respected and feared, and they will not easily fight others within this level[11]. Since they generally have God King-level Willpower, even God Kings won't wantonly provoke them, due to their ability to fully use the Reincarnation Secret Method.

First-Class Lord[]

Within the Imperial Families of the Ancient Kingdoms, First-Class Lords (一等侯(Yī děng hóu)) are those Primal Chaos Sovereigns who have either become Pinnacle Primal Chaos Sovereigns or have an Infinite Divine Body[12]. They receive a first-class lord's mansion, a personal army, a first-class Large City as their fiefdom, and can apply for 2 Guest Officials[12]. The personal guard army of a First-Class Lord has 1,000 Eternal True Gods and a large number of Void True Gods, and its formation far exceeds the might of Lord Jiu Jiang's or the Heart Shadow Sect's Eternal True God Armies. While the competition between First-Class Lords is quite fierce, they all have access to substantial resources provided by the Imperial Family, giving them the chance to break through to God King.

Chaos Realm Transcendent Existence[]

Chaos Realm Transcendent Existences (混境超脱存在(Hùn jìng chāotuō cúnzài), also referred to as Transcendent Chaos Realms 混沌境超脱(Hùndùn jìng chāotuō)) are the most powerful Chaos Sovereigns, with power already at the God King level[13]. They are incredibly rare, with almost all of them living in the Ancient Kingdoms. Their status is relatively high, even in the Ancient Kingdoms. Including Luo Feng, there are 71 recognized Transcendent Chaos Realms on the Continent of Origin[14]. Normally, they have cultivated secret techniques that surpass God King Techniques, such as Lie Yuan Technique[11], or use Chaotic Origin Bloodline/Chaotic Origin Material to augment their strength.
