Description[]
Rong Jun, true name Tu Man and nicknamed 'Savage' during the Pinnacle Genius Battle, is a strong man from the Golden Sword Empire. He descended from the same clan of the Human Race as Huge Axe Creator, the former No. 2 strongest Human.
Appearance[]
Barefoot, with messy, golden hair, he's a young, sturdy-looking 3 meter tall youth, who looks very similar to an Earthling, only sturdier and taller. He also has tiger-like eyes and a golden scale on his forehead. He gives off a formless energy and strength, and his voice is thick and powerful.
In the Donghua, he has lime green hair and appears more civilized. His appearance does not yet look unique; he wears armor like everyone else.
Personality[]
Savage loves to kill the strong. Only geniuses with true strength could attract his attention. During the Stellar-level Pinnacle Genius Battle, he showcased his confidence, by stating his goal was to be number one in the universe. He was planning to forfeit after his fight with Luo Feng, just so he could go through the losers' circle of 9,374 matches afterward for additional training. Luo Feng's strength made him consider defeating Luo Feng more important than the training in the loser's circle, which indicates the respect he has for worthy opponents.
Despite how he initially came off during the genius competition, Rong Jun is actually an earnest and passionate guy who easily makes friends with those able to compete with him. When Luo Feng matches up against Long Yun, Rong Jun gives him a warning to be careful of his Law of Earth comprehension, with the hopes that Luo Feng can win.
Biography[]
Early Life and Cultivation[]
Not much is known about Rong Jun's early life. He was adopted by someone whom he has great respect for, however, that being was killed by an Immortal who founded an empire. It is implied that this Immortal is not ordinary, fueling Rong Jun's desire for strength.
While his background isn't as exceptional as someone like Wu Ka, it is enough that he knew much more about the inner workings of the Virtual Universe Company than Babata, and by extension, Luo Feng.
Pinnacle Genius Battle[]
Rong Jun is one of the 822.5 billion Stellar Level participants in the Ganwu Universe Country selection portion of the Pinnacle Genius Battle in which Luo Feng participated. He represented the Golden Sword Empire.
Universe Country Elimination Stage[]
Rong Jun was placed in the 88th world for the Ganwu Universe Country Elimination Stage, same as Thunder God. On the 27th day of this stage, he encountered Thunder God, easily defeating him with one blade slash[10]. Thunder God, when reflecting on this battle with Hong and Luo Feng, noted that Rong Jun had definitely stepped through the gateway of the Original Laws[11]. When observing Rong Jun's footage, provided by Bu Te A Shen Ka, both Hong and Luo Feng acknowledged his strength[12].
Universe Country Arena Stage[]
With his performance in the 88th world (finishing ranked 3), Rong Jun made it to the Ganwu Universe Country Arena Stage, where he fought in Group 161, along with Hong[13]. His strength caused others to group up and attack him, but he easily slaughtered 5 of the 10 who initially attempted to surround him. His path was a path of slaughter, and he was clearly the most outstanding genius in that group.
As a result, he made it to the 1v1 battles, where he planned to win the first 3, then lose the last battle so he could participate in the loser's circle matches[14]. He was interested in fighting the 9,374 battles for his training. Before his 4th 1v1 battle, he looked at a picture of his adopted father, promising to enter the Virtual Universe Company (VUC), become the strongest within his generation in the VUC[15]. He also promised to then kill the Immortal responsible for his death, and reclaim his true name, Tu Man.
His battle with Luo Feng was preceded with images of his performances up to that point of the Pinnacle Genius Battle. This battle was the most eagerly anticipated of the Ganwu Universe Country Arena Duels, with tickets being extremely expensive. The two finally had their battle on July 26, 2066. When the two finally met face-to-face, Rong Jun shared his plan to lose to Luo Feng, and felt his fighting spirit when he promised to directly defeat Rong Jun.
The two engaged in a heated battle, with Rong Jun advancing toward Luo Feng, who retreated using the Soaring Shuttle[16]. He then attacked Rong Jun with the Yan Shen Armament, using the Phantom Sword Form to form one golden blade, but Rong Jun deflected it with one slash. The dance continued, with Luo Feng dodging time and again, while Rong Jun chased him down with peculiar movements. After exchanging about 10 attacks, Rong Jun realized that he couldn't continue directly clash with Luo Feng's attacks, since his body bore the brunt of the attacks, while Luo Feng used a Spirit Weapon. Those who observed the battle felt that the pair had decent strength, but nothing special compared to previous years.
Luo Feng, understanding that he had already used half of his Spirit Energy, revealed his secret weapon, a second Phantom Sword[16]! However, to his surprise, Rong Jun was able to defend against both blades, prompting Luo Feng to acknowledge his strength[17]. Before Luo Feng launched his next attack, Rong Jun threw his blade aside, shocking both Luo Feng and the spectators. Rong Jun then declared that his true aim was to be number 1 in the entire universe, and his basic expectation was to make the top 1,000. He then revealed a new battle blade, the Earth-Splitting Blade, and told Luo Feng to use whatever skills he had. As Luo Feng launched his two blades, Rong Jun produced a phantom image, his Law of Space comprehension having reached a level comparable to Arc of Light. Due to the phantom image, Luo Feng was unable to determine the real body, prompting him to separate the two phantom blades into their 18 small golden blades, attacking Rong Jun from all directions and impeding his movement. He also used two Soaring Shuttles to form two Swordfish Formations, then reformed the 2 phantom blades, attempting to defeat Rong Jun before he could attack. However, with the strength of his Law of Earth Domain and the speed and power of his blade attack, Rong Jun rushed forward, being pierced through the chest by one of the phantom blades, while slashing through Luo Feng, leaving him the one man standing[17].
Despite defeating Luo Feng, Rong Jun acknowledged his absolute calmness and ability to think in the short time frame after he unleashed his true strength[18]. He stated that despite intending to commit suicide in the match after defeating Luo Feng, Luo Feng's reactions made that impossible, forcing him to defeat him and win the battle. The battle between the two caused the other Ganwu Universe Country geniuses to acknowledge that Rong Jun was indeed the strongest of the group. The spectators erupted in cheers, having been completely surprised by the strength shown by the pair.
Training Space Elimination[]
Having defeated Luo Feng in the Ganwu Universe Country Arena Stage, Rong Jun automatically qualified for the top 1,000 of the Ganwu Universe Country, and was considered their strongest genius. While the Immortals who watched him thought he had no chance at reaching number one, they thought he might make the top 10[18]. Before arriving for the next stage, he was discussed by Wu Ka and his World Master aides[19]. Lord of Ganwu was very disappointed that none of the geniuses trained in the Ganwu Secret Region were able to match with Rong Jun, and he admonished his Immortal subordinates for their uselessness. In the meantime, Luo Feng used a simulated Rong Jun as his training partner in the Slaughter Space, working to strengthen his combat ability.
When the Ganwu Universe Country group gathered for the Training Space Elimination, Rong Jun met Luo Feng, acknowledging his improved strength[20]. Thirteen noted that Rong Jun was the only one with a guarantee of not being eliminated, and told him that Lord of Ganwu had high expectations of him. The other Universe Country groups spoke only of Rong Jun when they discussed the Ganwu Universe Country[21].
Rong Jun performed well from the beginning of the Training Space Elimination stage, ranking 12th early on and exciting the fans from the Ganwu Universe Country[22]. As the stage continued, he fell to 16th, still considered incredible considering there were over a million geniuses competing[23]. He ranked 13th after dying in the 5th tower of the training space, and ultimately finished 14th after Luo Feng moved past him[23]. After he was eliminated, he observed Bolan and Luo Feng's performances, noting that he might lose in one move versus Bolan[24], while declaring that despite Luo Feng's improvement, he wouldn't be able to stop him[25].
After this stage concluded, Rong Jun and Luo Feng were lectured by Thirteen, who made sure they weren't too arrogant after their success, and prepared them for the arena duels[26]. He informed them that Controllers had a large advantage in the Training Space, while Illusionists had a large disadvantage, making the arena duels a different beast from the Training Space. He also told them that the Immortals concluded that Luo Feng was among the top 10 in strength while Rong Jun was in the top 20, but that everyone in the top 20 could make the top 10.
Arena Duels[]
Since he placed 14th in the Training Space Elimination, Rong Jun was one of the top 100 who were automatically accepted as core members of the Virtual Universe Company (VUC)[25]. These 100 were the first 100 selected to participate in the final battle. He acknowledged Luo Feng's strength and told him he hoped to defeat him again in the Arena Duels[27]. The pair sat together and observed the battles between the 7,200 who competed for the remaining 100 spots in the final battle, having made good impressions on each other. They focused on tens of screens at a time, and eventually both watched Jia Laixi's 3 battles[27].
When the 200 participants had been determined, Rong Jun shed some light on the 4 Secret Realms of the VUC for Luo Feng[28]. He explained the value the company placed on the Primal Secret Realm and some of the perks of being a member, revealing the bodyguard team led by an Immortal. This stunned Luo Feng, who also realized that Rong Jun must have more of a background than he initially thought, since he knew so much.
Eventually, Rong Jun was among the 20 selected from the 100 winners in the first battle[29]. He was placed against Gu Si Luo, a Controller who was considered the only genius who might have a chance against Bolan. Despite others commenting that Rong Jun had no chance of winning, he eventually did, in the longest battle of the 10[30]. His blade work shocked Luo Feng, and even made Bolan crease his eyebrows. His and Luo Feng's performances greatly pleased Thirteen[31].
Due to how the VUC determined the next combatants, he was placed against Bolan, and lost, as expected. Some of the Immortals present felt that if he hadn't been selected to face Bolan, he could have possibly made it to number 2 in the group[31]. Before losing to Bolan, Rong Jun warned Luo Feng not to underestimate Long Yun, noting his incredible Law of Earth Domain and the probability that he wasn't as simple of an opponent as he seemed[31]. After he and Luo Feng lost, they watched the remaining battles, each commenting that the other could have possibly made it to number 2[32].
Primal Chaos City[]
By placing in the top 10 of the Pinnacle Genius Battle, Rong Jun was one of the 8 to be placed in the Absolute Beginning Secret Realm, along with Luo Feng, Wu Ka, Qian Shui, Ai Chen, Jiang Mo, Lancelot, and Ao Pa Te La[32]. He was permitted to spend 30 years in Primal Chaos City, taking advantage of the resources there to deepen his foundation and increase his strength.
Early on, he and Luo Feng were shocked at the resources available, including Nutrition Cabins[33]. With his eyes on the Immortal who caused his adoptive father's death, there was no way he could be satisfied with becoming a normal Immortal. When presented with the 52 Primal Chaos Tablets, he chose the Huge Axe Primal Chaos Tablet, not knowing that it was left behind by Huge Axe Creator until Wu Ka revealed the fact[34]. When the group of 1,000 geniuses began testing their strength and comprehension at the Tong Tian Bridge, he was the only person to pass the first level other than Bolan, who passed the first two[35]. After showcasing his comprehension and strength through that performance, he was accepted as a disciple by Yuan Chen Country Master, making him the only genius of his group accepted by a Universe Venerable. In addition to Yuan Chen, Gu Lun also attempted to make him his disciple, shocking Venerable Nine Swords[35]. Rong Jun's performance inspired Luo Feng and Wu Ka to work harder, and shocked those like Long Yun and Gu Si Luo.
Rong Jun's talent was acknowledged by King Zhenyan[35], King Wu Ni[35], and King Longyu[36], who continued to watch monitor him under orders from her boss, Venerable Nine Swords. With Yuan Chen as his teacher, he was able to see the first form of the Huge Axe Primal Chaos Tablet performed in front of him by a Universe Venerable! Later, when the group began to take advantage of the third treasure of Primal Chaos City, the Primal Chaos Beasts, he warned Luo Feng that some had already died when hunting the beasts[37].
In his 4th year in Primal Chaos City, he passed the 2nd level of the Tong Tian Bridge, making him the second to do so after Bolan[36]. In his 10th year, he received a notification from Bevin[38], and, as he wondered who broke through, was shocked to learn that Luo Feng passed the 2nd and 3rd levels consecutively[39]. He and Wu Ka, among others, arrived at the bridge to learn if Luo Feng passed the 4th level, and were relieved to hear that he had not[40]. In his 13th year, Rong Jun passed the 3rd level[41], in his 19th he failed to pass the 4th, and in his final 10 days of his initial 30 year period, he passed the 4th level, causing Venerable Nine Swords and Kandeli to acknowledge him as an extremely rare talent[42]. Shortly after Rong Jun passed the 4th level, Luo Feng passed the 5th, stunning him[43]. Yuan Chen remarked that it was good that he knew that he was falling behind, then demonstrated the 2nd form of the Huge Axe Tablet once more.
As the genius group prepared to leave Primal Chaos City for the physical Secret Realms of the Virtual Universe Company, he and Luo Feng joked that Wu Ka needed to work harder to catch up[44].
Life in the Absolute Beginning Secret Realm[]
After his 30 years in Primal Chaos City, Rong Jun and the 7 other members of the Absolute Beginning Secret Realm traveled to the physical Absolute Beginning Realm, protected during the journey by King Meteorite[45]. He was the first of the 8 to be sent to be dropped off at his living space, Star Fragment 80389092. Having a diameter of 5,800 kilometers (similar to that of a planet), the fragment had a huge mansion at its center, which served as his living quarters.
During his time in the Absolute Beginning Secret Realm, Rong Jun, Luo Feng, and Wu Ka formed one of the group's cliques[46], often meeting in Wu Ka's villa[47], and being called the Absolute Beginning's Three Heroes[48]. After Yi Ke's death, Rong Jun took on his first training mission, deciding to select a Difficult-level mission due to his lack of experience[46]. He smiled with admiration at Luo Feng's selection of a Dangerous-level Mission as his first[49]. The two often teased Wu Ka about his great wealth, frequently enjoying luxurious items like God Drunk that neither of them could afford[47]. At some point he attempted Fantasy Ocean, failing on the 6th island, which was considered terrifying Willpower for a Universe Level[50].
Luo Feng was still undertaking the mission on Blood River World by the time Rong Jun had received his 5th mission, prompting both Rong Jun and Wu Ka to comment that spending too much time on one mission would be a waste of time[47]. In response, Luo Feng went to the Tong Tian Bridge, proving to the pair that he could now pass the 6th level[51]. Rong Jun and Wu Ka were shocked, since it had only been 2 years since they left Primal Chaos City, and Luo Feng was able to pass the 6th level, which he couldn't do 2 years prior.
When Luo Feng completed his mission on Blood River World, he met with Tian Shi Palace Master, who noted that Luo Feng and Rong Jun had the best chances of becoming absolute warriors of the Human Race[9]. He commented that if Luo Feng could surpass Rong Jun in his lifetime, that would be a great accomplishment, causing Luo Feng to think that Rong Jun indeed had some secret that made him different.
During his first 80 years in the Absolute Beginning Secret Realm, Rong Jun passed the 6th level of the Tong Tian Bridge, making him the third of his genius class to do so, after Bolan and Luo Feng[52].
Secret Realm Qualification Battles[]
During his second century after the Pinnacle Genius Battle, Rong Jun participated in his first Secret Realm Qualification Battle. He and Wu Ka met with Luo Feng after learning he passed the 7th level of the Tong Tian Bridge, celebrating with some Thunderstorm Wine. As he had already finished his 10 missions for his first 100 years out of the Beginning Universe, he helped Luo Feng decide which missions to undertake. Later, he accompanied the rest of the Absolute Beginning Secret Realm Universe Level rookies in watching Luo Feng defeat Ashi and Mo Yi Lin, complimenting him on his performance. He was uncertain if Luo Feng could defeat Sa Jin, and was impressed when he did. He and Wu Ka were shocked that Luo Feng completed 4 Dangerous-level missions so quickly, and he was confident that Luo Feng hadn't died on the mission at Devil Mountain.
By the time of the qualification battle, he was filled with confidence in his ability to remain in the Absolute Beginning Secret Realm. In the battle, he ranked 19th, placing him in the top 20 and meaning that he did not have to compete with the strongest members of the Heaven and Earth Secret Realm to keep his spot. He and Luo Feng teased Wu Ka when he was demoted to the Heaven and Earth Secret Realm, and the trio watched Long Yun and Bolan's performances in the Primal Secret Realm qualification battles. As a melee fighter, he was quite impressed with Mo Luo's performance vs. Bolan, and he was equally impressed with Simayan's victory over Mo Luo.
When Ke Luo Fu died, thus forfeiting his match with Luo Feng, Rong Jun joined the other rookies of the Absolute Beginning Secret Realm in sending him off to the Primal Secret Realm. He was also there to send Luo Feng off after he broke through to Domain Master, expressing his shock that Luo Feng chose to break through and compete with the Domain Master geniuses instead of staying at the Universe Level. Later, he was among those who messaged Luo Feng after he passed the 13th level of the Tong Tian Bridge.
After Universe Level[]
In the 800 years in Primal Chaos City since Luo Feng was accepted as a disciple-in-name to Primal Chaos City Leader, Rong Jun broke through to Domain Master. Through his performances in the Secret Realm Qualification Battles, he became an Absolute Beginning Secret Realm Domain Master. Later, he attempted to contact Luo Feng twice during his 6,092 years spent undergoing the inheritance of Star Tower, having recently become a World Master himself. He was still considered an incredible genius, a special talent with a bright future, with some of the upper echelon of the Human Race still believing that he would be stronger than Luo Feng.
It wasn't until Luo Feng passed the World Master Level Primal Sky Mountain that they began to admit defeat. By this time, Rong Jun was a Primal Secret Realm World Master, along with Bolan. The two became closer during this period, with both of them seeking to surpass Luo Feng. Rong Jun, who had already surpassed Bolan, was so strong that even if there was a Secret Realm Qualification Battle, he would remain in the Primal Secret Realm. Due to this, he thought he had closed the distance between he and Luo Feng, but he realized the gap had widened when Luo Feng passed Primal Sky Mountain. He and Bolan aimed to become Universe Venerables, but were somewhat discouraged after Luo Feng passed the 20th level of the Tong Tian Bridge.
After Luo Feng became a Universe Venerable, it was noted that Rong Jun and Bolan had become Immortal Kings (around 110,000 years after their Pinnacle Genius Battle). By the end of the story, Rong Jun had become a Universe Master.

Strength[]
As a Stellar Level genius, Rong Jun already had very high comprehension of both Law of Earth and Law of Space , capable of killing a Universe Level 1 cultivator! His space law comprehension was such that he could make a phantom image with his movement, comparable to the first level of 10,000 Thread Flow or Arc of Light. He had hopes of placing first in the Pinnacle Genius Battle during Luo Feng's era, and eventually finished in the top 10.
He was strong enough to pass the first level of the Tong Tian Bridge upon his arrival in Primal Chaos City, and he was the second to pass the second level as well. While he was initially behind Bolan and was surpassed by Luo Feng, he was considered a great talent due to his bloodline, and he eventually surpassed Bolan. He became an Immortal King in under 110,000 years, and became a Universe Master before the end of his Reincarnation Era.
His main weapon is strapped to his back: a short sword (短刀), but only when compared to his stature, in the 88th Pinnacle Genius Battle world. To Lei Shen, that short sword was a large saber (大型战刀). In the 8th Pinnacle Genius Battle world, Earthlings viewed it as a two-handed greatsword (双手巨剑).
