The S9 Flycutter is a throwing knife, meant to be used by Spirit Masters. As a 9th series weapon, even Advanced Beast Seigneurs (equivalent to Apprentice Level 9) would find it difficult to destroy. Since they are throwing knives, they are light and use much less material than a blade or armor, so they are affordable for weaker fighters.
Spirit Masters use their telekinesis to use them to attack Mutant Beasts or other opponents. A Warrior could use these as a sort of distraction, but would be unable to completely control their trajectory, retrieve them mid-battle, or throw them at the same speed as a Spirit Master (who can launch them at speeds exceeding a bullet!).
While a weapon used by Spirit Masters, technically it would not be considered a Spirit Weapon since it does not maximize their abilities, and even requires more Spirit Energy to be moved at greater distances. It would be more akin to a hidden weapon.
