Spirit Weapons (念力兵器, Niànlì bīngqì, lit. Telekinesis Weapon) are weapons used by Spirit Masters to take full advantage of their special abilities. Their construction is extremely complex, so their prices are very expensive. Depending on the quality, a Spirit Weapon may be easier or more difficult to use; for example, the Soaring Shuttle is a low-quality Spirit Weapon due to its high requirements of its users, while the Arc Blade is a medium-quality Spirit Weapon due to having lower requirements of its users. Attacks using Spirit Weapons are typically much faster than those from Genetic Energy Weapons. Additionally, using Spirit Weapons allows Spirit Masters to attack from long-range, avoiding melee combat. For these reasons among others, Spirit Masters are especially difficult for fighters to handle.
As Spirit Weapons increase in strength and quality, they will begin to have Original Law engravings carved on them, making it easier for the user to utilize those Original Laws. Through their abilities, Spirit Masters could trigger the law engravings, allowing them to perform more advanced formations and techniques. Spirit Weapons without those engravings are tens to hundreds of times more difficult to use; for example: Luo Feng was able to use the 9th level technique of the Yan Shen Armament, with its engravings of Law of Space and Law of Gold , but when using a Spirit Weapon without law engravings, it was incredibly difficult for him to even use the 8th level technique of the Yan Shen Armament[3].
At lower cultivation levels, use of a Spirit Weapon is driven by Original Law comprehension, Willpower, and Consciousness. Those with higher law comprehension, Willpower, or Consciousness can compensate for weaknesses in the other attributes. At higher cultivation levels, there are two ways to utilize Spirit Weapon Arcana[4]. One is with deep law comprehension, allowing a user to amplify the use of their Divine Power tenfold. The other is for those with poor law comprehension to use incredible amounts of Divine Power, hundreds to thousands of times that used by others to achieve the same effect. Inadequate law comprehension or Divine Power significantly slows the speed of Spirit Weapon attacks.
