Appearance[]

A majestic, completely black, nine-story tower made of unknown material. It is rectangular-shaped and its top is like a pyramid, making the tower look similar to some Chinese towers. When seen on the 7th Battlefield, the tower was surrounded by 9 endless colorful nebula whirlpools that were simply mesmerizing. Its lowest level was not surrounded by the whirlpools, and had nine entrances.

Description[]

Star Tower is most likely Chaotic Origin Lifeform-level weapon. It was made by Sitting Mountain Guest. As a God King-level weapon, it has multiple functions, including attack, material defense, soul defense, flying palace, enslaving, and can also be used as a Spirit Weapon, but its primary functions are sealing and suppression. Star Tower is incapable of being damaged by any power in the Original Universe, and as a God King-level weapon, it is likely unable to be damaged by anything on the Continent of Origin.

This Tower was evolved by Overlord Yuan, When he and his Allies killed a Chaotic Origin Ancestor the they gained three blood red scales (even with all his strength he couldn't break it) out of which one was used to craft the Star Tower.

It is incredibly complex, with 9 levels containing 3 techniques each, and with components that are Heavy Treasures or Common Arcana on their own. As a Xeon Arcana, its size could be increased or it could be shrunk to the size of a grain of sand. The tower itself has its own intelligence, but while its calculation speed matched that of Intelligent Life, its emotional intelligence was comparable to a 2-3 year old child.

Tower Framework[]

Star Tower contains endless space within. Within were the Forbidden Spaces, which made up less than 1% of the area, endless pillars that reached the sky, ranging from a few light-seconds to over one light-year long, some other weirdly-shaped treasures, and the Sealed Stars.

The pillars have endless, extremely complicated secret patterns and emit a hazy golden light. They are connected to each other and serve as the tower's support. The treasures each had a huge aura and could be considered the tiles and bricks of the tower. The countless Sealed Stars were akin to a bicycle's steel ball bearings, surrounding one area after another, each covered with Original Law engravings.

Star Tower Components[]

Sealed Stars[]

Within Star Tower are countless Sealed Stars, each between 9,000 km and 90,000 km in diameter. On their own, the Sealed Stars are seal-type Heavy Treasures, valuable even to Universe Venerables. The vast majority of these Sealed Stars are important pieces of Star Tower and cannot be spared, but 16,235 were useless to Star Tower when Luo Feng took ownership of it.

Occasionally, a Sealed Star will break off from the tower, sparking tremendous battles between Immortal Kings hoping to either obtain a Sealed Star or take advantage of the tumult to acquire other treasures from those who die. Eventually, Luo Feng took 10,000 of these to merge with the scroll provided by Sitting Mountain Guest, creating the Common Arcana Spirit Weapon Star Map. The essential Sealed Stars formed the axle of Star Tower, with countless stars surrounding a great temple within the tower.

Sealed Space[]

Star Tower is primarily a suppressing treasure, and the Sealed Spaces or Suppression Spaces (封印空间(Fēngyìn kōngjiān), lit. Sealed Space, 镇封空间(Zhèn fēng kōngjiān), lit. Suppression Sealed Space, or 镇压空间(Zhènyā kōngjiān), lit. Suppression Space) are its core. The Sealed Spaces are vast and boundless, with black ground and mountain ranges faintly visible in the distance. These spaces can be used to house beings that have been swallowed by Star Tower, and apply an incredibly powerful suppression upon them; Universe Masters trapped here were unable to break free, and Morosa (while also suppressed by One Thought Void Space and Miniature Universe Origin) was unable to even self-destruct. It does not use Divine Power, preventing Morosa from using his Sector Beast power to consume it. Luo Feng used one of these spaces to house Morosa while he underwent the process of becoming the Sector Beast King.

Tower Pearl[]

Tower Pearl is the control center for the Star Tower. To take ownership of Star Tower, one must successfully fuse their soul with the Tower Pearl, so the Tower Pearl is also the proof of ownership of the tower. In addition to these purposes and functions, Tower Pearl is a Soul-type Common Arcana that can be used to defend the user's soul.

Requirements to own Star Tower[]

To take ownership of Star Tower, one must pass its life-or-death inheritance process[2]. The inheritance process is extremely harsh and requires the merging of the candidates soul with the control center of Star Tower, the Tower Pearl. This merging causes incredible pain within the candidate's soul; if the candidate failed, their soul would disintegrate and they would die! It is implied that Pu Ti, Sitting Mountain Guest's 1st disciple, observes the candidates through the process.

Due to the special occurrence during its creation process, Star Tower was different from Sitting Mountain Guest's initial idea. After its creation, he realized it was too difficult to find another being to take ownership of Star Tower. He searched for tens of thousands of the strong, from World Masters to Immortals to Universe Venerables, to conduct an experiment. However, the stronger the soul of the candidate, the more terrifying the process was, and all of the candidates he selected failed and died[2].

Through this trial and error experiment, he deduced that while World Masters and Immortals may have a chance, those at Universe Venerable or higher would have no chance at all! The inheritance process tests the soul and Willpower of the candidate, prompting Sitting Mountain Guest to nurture the Earthlings to have swift growths in mental state, with strong souls, Consciousness, and willpower. The first Earthling candidate to attempt the process was an Immortal who persevered for 2,600 years before dying; he was at the Yin-Yang Harmony, Pure Heart stage of the Three Mental States[3]. The second candidate was a World Master who persevered for 3,300 years before dying; he was at the All-Encompassing, Infinite Heart stage of the Three Mental States[3].

Luo Feng, who was a World Master at the Clear Nature, Original Heart stage of the Three Mental States, successfully passed the inheritance process after 6,092 years of agony. He ultimately spent over 9 years in Deep Sleep after the process due to the extreme fatigue on his soul[4]. Even this required his Willpower to evolve at the 3,200 year mark of the process, giving him much more leeway in the process[4]. A candidate could train their Willpower during the process, but they would need the ability to withstand the pain being inflicted on their soul.

Pu Ti realized that Luo Feng's success was partially due to his mastery of the Clear Nature stage, allowing him to push his Willpower and Consciousness to their limits to forcibly withstand and suppress the pain, after which point he could overcome it[3]. Using the Yin-Yang Harmony stage would allow the candidate to get used to the pain and meld with it, and using the All-Encompassing stage would allow them to encompass the pain, but neither of these would allow them to suppress the pain past the limit of their Willpower and Consciousness, resulting in their eventual failures and deaths.

Through Luo Feng's experience, we can surmise that a successful candidate would require Willpower at least 2 realms beyond their cultivation realm (Luo Feng had Willpower surpassing some Universe Venerables while a World Master).

Tower Floors[]

Star Tower has 9 floors; each floor has 3 levels of techniques, so Star Tower has 27 levels of techniques in total, far more than typical Xeon Arcana, some of which didn't even have 7 layers of engravings[5]. Luo Feng named the attacks, but did not spend much effort naming them, even sharing names for some attacks[6].

  • The First Layer Engraving is called Stab ((), lit. Stab or Thrust)[7]. It is a Top-Tier Universe Master Level 4 attack and can be triggered those capable of comprehending Universe Master Level 3 techniques.
  • The Second Layer Engraving is called Smash ((), lit. Smash or Crush)[7]. It is a Top-Tier Universe Master Level 5 attack[8] and can be triggered by those capable of comprehending Universe Master Strongest Techniques.
  • The Third Layer Engraving is called Swallow (吞吸(tūn xī)). It is a Top-Tier Universe Master Level 6/True God attack[8] and can be triggered by those capable of comprehending Universe Master Strongest Fusion Techniques.
  • The Fourth Layer Engraving is called Crush (())[6]. It is a Top-Tier True God Level 7 attack[5] and can be triggered by those capable of comprehending True God Level 6 techniques.
  • The Fifth Layer Engraving is called Suppress ((Zhèn), lit. Suppress or Subdue)[6]. It is a Top-Tier True God Level 8 attack[5] and can be triggered capable of comprehending True God Level 7 techniques.
  • The Sixth Layer Engraving is not named in the novel. It is a Top-Tier True God Level 8 attack[5] and can be triggered by those capable of comprehending Top-Tier True God Level 7 techniques.
  • The Seventh Layer Engraving is called Whirlpool World (漩涡世界(Xuánwō shìjiè), lit. Whirlpool/Swirl World) and is a True God Level 9 attack[9]. It can be triggered by those capable of comprehending True God Level 8 techniques[10].
  • The Eighth Layer Engraving is not named in the novel. it is a Top-Tier True God Level 9 attack and can be triggered by those capable of comprehending Top-Tier True God Level 8 techniques[10].
  • The Ninth Layer Engraving is not named in the novel. It is a True God Level 10 attack and can be triggered by those capable of comprehending True God Level 9 techniques[10].

The fourth floor can be triggered by those capable of comprehending Top-Tier True God Level 9, True God Level 10, and Top-Tier True God Level 10 techniques.

The fifth and sixth floors can be triggered by those capable of comprehending Void True God Techniques[10].

The seventh floor can be triggered by those capable of comprehending Eternal True God Techniques[10].

The eighth floor can be triggered by those capable of comprehending Primal Chaos Sovereign Techniques[10].

The ninth floor can be triggered by those capable of comprehending God King Techniques[10].

Abilities[]

As a treasure suited to be a God King's main weapon, Star Tower has multiple functions:

Sealing and Suppression[]

This is most important ability of Star Tower[11]. Star Tower can suppress a large number of enemies, and one can seal their enemies within it, placing them in one of the Sealed Spaces.

Taming[]

When the user has sufficient strength, they can tame the enemies who have been suppressed and imprisoned within the Star Tower, making them their eternal servants[12].

Swallowing[]

Star Tower has the ability to swallow the user's enemies[13] through the main entrance on the bottom story of the tower. These swallowed enemies are sent to the Sealed Spaces. As the user comprehends more levels of Star Tower, the swallowing ability gets stronger. The third and seventh layers of engravings are explicitly used with this swallowing function.

Flying Palace[]

Star Tower can serve as a Flying Palace Xeon Arcana in every aspect. It is incredibly durable against material and soul attacks and heavily reduces their impact. It can resist Seal-type treasures[14], and as a God King-level weapon, it is stronger than any Seal-type treasure found in the Original Universe (and is superior to the vast majority of those on the Continent of Origin). It can be used to travel through various environments, including the Dangerous Lands of Universe Ocean, and is capable of protecting its user from those dangerous regions[15].

Attack[]

Star Tower can be used as a Spirit Weapon, with its physical form used to pierce or smash opponents[11].

Soul Defense[]

Star Tower can be used to defend the soul in multiple ways. It can be absorbed into the user's Divine Body, allowing it to directly defend the soul against Soul Attacks, or the user can sit inside of it, like a Flying Palace. It is implied that the user could traverse the Reincarnation Channel by riding inside Star Tower[10].

Containment[]

Star Tower can be used to carry powerful items, such as the Divine Blood of cultivators at the Eternal True God level or higher[16]. It was also used to carry the entirety of Luo Feng's Remote Ocean Body during the Human Race Survival War[17].

Star Tower on 7th Battlefield[]

The Star Tower was located on the 7th Battlefield before Luo Feng took control of it and moved it.

Description[]

One of the most dangerous areas on the seventh battlefield gathering hundreds of thousands of Immortal Kings from the Four Races and their allies. Star Tower has been on the 7th Battlefield since the opening of the Extraterritorial Battlefield trillions of years ago. For countless years, it has devoured the endless energy in the Original Universe, devoured the surge of energy, and formed the "9 Nebula Whirlpool". There are nine spirals in the nebula, and the further one goes in, the more terrifying the tearing force of the whirlpool will be. In the fourth spin, Invincible Immortal King can barely bear the tearing force, and the Universe venerable can be safe in it. With the seventh spin, even the Universe Venerable will be torn apart and annihilated. However, there is no nebula vortex around the bottom of the tower. There are nine entrances on the first floor at the bottom, and many kings and princes enter through one entrance at will.

The War over Star Tower[]

When the 4 Pinnacle Races forged the Extraterritorial Battlefield they picked a distant Starfield and began their sweep. When they discovered Star Tower, those Universe Venerables in charge of the sweep discovered how terrifying the 9 Nebula Whirlpools were, discovering that their attacks had no effect on the tower. They immediately regarded it as a Treasure, and they called the Universe Masters of their races over, the 4 Pinnacle Races had a Huge War, and countless Universe Venerables fell, as to who won is unknown. Even the great Universe Masters couldn’t do anything about the tower, leaving it on the 7th Battlefield for countless years. Pinnacle Races are the strongest races in the universe. The 4 Races, even they weren’t able to take it away. This had made countless fighters deduce that relying on brute force alone was useless, the tower should be awaiting a master that was suitable.

Forbidden Space[]

Star Tower is essentially a massive skyscraper with countless 'rooms.' These 'rooms' are Forbidden Spaces (禁地空间(Jìndì kōngjiān), lit. Forbidden Land Space) and are blocked from the outside[18]. One could use Scanning Devices, World Projection, Spirit Energy scans, or Teleportation within a space, but could not use them to detect or reach another Forbidden Space. One could use God Country Transmission to leave a Forbidden Space, but that would completely remove them from Star Tower. While one could not move from one Forbidden Space to another through conventional means, they could do so through the secret passages that connected them to other spaces. These secret passages are rock bridges that float within the vast void space within Star Tower. Under normal circumstances, these passages are easy to find, taking one day at most to be discovered[19].

The Forbidden Spaces constantly shift position, so even if one remains motionless in the space, their physical coordinates will continue to change as time passes. The environments within the Forbidden Spaces differ; there are desert spaces[18], ocean spaces[19], swamp spaces[19], snowy spaces[20], etc., and they all have their own dangers that are normally dormant. The primary dangers within the spaces are normally the Immortal Kings within, however, when a Sealed Star is about to emerge, things change. While the individual occurrences differ some, the emergence of a Sealed Star results in the Forbidden Spaces connecting and gathering the Immortal Kings in one secret passage[19]. That secret passage contains the Sealed Star, and the gathering of the Immortal Kings results in an incredible bloodbath. While the spaces gather the Immortal Kings, the most dangerous innate threats of the Forbidden Spaces awaken: the Forbidden Guards.

SWS2 STAR TOWER[]

In current ongoing sws2 Luo Feng After increase in strength and realm finds out that he can't peek into the secret of star tower so there is a speculation that star tower is above God King level anyways it is just a speculation and yet to be confirmed by IET.

The Star Tower is confirmed to far surpass the level of "God King-level" secret treasures, even among those possessed by the emperors and monarchs of the Origin Continent. After Luo Feng broke through to above God King willpower, he inspected the Star Tower by penetrating his divine power into the vast and mysterious secret patterns deep within it. He discovered that it contained complex secret patterns that encompass all, and even more than, the Great Daos in Origin Continent supreme rules, —life, destruction, cause and effect, time, space, matter, world, infinity, and the extreme. The nine major great daos under the supreme rules of the Origin Continent could all be found within these patterns.[21]

Forbidden Guard[]

The Forbidden Guards (禁地护卫(Jìndì hùwèi), lit. Forbidden Area Defender) are powerful entities that usually lie dormant within the Forbidden Spaces. They are extremely advanced metal mechanical puppets, unaffected by Soul Attacks, and have durable bodies incapable of being forcibly torn apart even by Invincible Immortal Kings[22]. As a result, the best way to incapacitate them is to deliver an attack powerful enough to destroy their internal energy core. Each guard that appears within a Forbidden Space is restricted to that space, so one can escape the guards by discovering and taking the secret passage leading to another space.

Most of the guards, while durable, are insufficient to force a Limit Immortal King to burn their Divine Body to handle[22]. However, when Luo Feng entered Star Tower, he and King Heavy Arrow eventually encountered one with attacks stronger than that of a Limit Immortal King, and even close to an Invincible Immortal King. This guard forced Heavy Arrow to resort to being a shield despite wearing the Purple Clock armor[19]. The guards vary in size, strength, battle techniques, and combat style. The first guard Luo Feng encountered was a centipede-like machine over 1,000km in length with over 10,000 sharp claws, while the guard at the seventh space was a 1.2m tall apelike machine that wielded two huge hammers and attacked with speed and agility. Fortunately, as they are just puppets, they do not have Divine Bodies to burn, unlike the Automaton Race immortals.
