A single, beautiful island, suspended above an endless ocean. Beside this island were 52 ports, each with an endless bridge extending out into the horizon. These 52 bridges completely covered the air above the ocean. With the surrounding mist, the bridges appeared mystical and dream-like.

Guarded and watched over by Bevin, the Tong Tian Bridge also called the Heavenly Bridge refers to the 52 bridges, corresponding to the 52 Primal Chaos Tablets located in Primal Chaos City, that exist to test the law comprehension of those studying those 52 tablets. The core members of the Virtual Universe Company (VUC) have the right to attempt the bridge.
The bridges have differing numbers of levels, corresponding to the difficulty of comprehending the secrets of the associated tablets. Passing the level 3 meant the cultivator had grasped the basics of the tablet. Most Immortals pass level 10; if one passed level 18, they'd receive the right to become an eternal member of Primal Chaos City and open their own sub-sect to teach classes. Those who pass level 21 can become a Universe Country Leader and considered a Universe Venerable! The bridge with the most levels is the Huge Axe bridge, with 32 levels.
Those who pass the levels of their respective bridge receive Virtual Universe Company Points for doing so, as well as an additional opportunity to study the corresponding tablet in Primal Chaos City. The points double as one passes levels, you receive 100 for passing level 1, 200 for level 2, 400 for level 3, until you have completely passed the bridge. New residents of Primal Chaos City (generally the geniuses from the Genius Battle) receive a 10-fold bonus within their first 30 years of their first stay in Primal Chaos City. As one could only receive these points from working with the VUC, and the points are incredibly valuable, the bridge is constantly attempted.
When attempting the bridge, one can select either a Warrior, Controller, or Illusionist as their opponent. If possible, their opponent will use the same equipment as them, as long as they pick the same class of combatant as them. Most focus on their strengths, so they face the same class of combatant as their self, but you can choose to test other attributes (close-range combat, long-range combat, ability to defend against illusions) by choosing a different class. It is rare for someone to pass level 1 on their first attempt; within Luo Feng's cohort, the only two who did so were Bolan and Rong Jun!
Since those who attempt the bridge are generally geniuses, the bridge is constantly monitored, with Bevin being bombarded with requests for footage and updates if sufficiently promising geniuses appear. Despite this, Immortals test themselves on the bridge as well, seeking to break through plateaus and understand what is preventing them from doing so. Additionally, the points were incredibly valuable. The bridge itself is a sight to behold, the environment surrounding the bridge can vary, with storms and other environmental occurrences appearing.
