Universe Energy (宇宙能量, also referred to as 原始宇宙能量, lit. Original Universe Energy) is the innate energy that exists all over the Original Universe. When cultivators reach Apprentice Level 1, they can begin to sense this energy and use it to train their Genetic Energy[1]. This energy seems to be unevenly distributed throughout the Original Universe, resulting in some territories being more highly prized than others; these most valuable territories are controlled by the Human Race, Demon Race, Automaton Race, and the Zerg Race[2]. God Countries, which exist in the Space Interlayer region of the universe, receive less Universe Energy than the regions outside of those interlayers[3].
The population density of lifeforms in a particular region determines how much Universe Energy is available for each lifeform to absorb. It is due to this allocation of population that the 98.2% of Human Race that reaches Universe Venerable does so from ordinary regions rather than Secret Regions[3].
