Biography[]
Yan Hai is a mentor figure to Li Yao. He is the 7th strongest warrior on Earth. Since Jia Yi defeated him and Yan Hai is stated to be the most qualified candidate for the Fifth Elder position, it can be inferred that he has similar strength to Jia Yi and Atkin.
During the era of the Great Nirvana, he alongside Li Yao and others as his henchmen bullied others. He was later banished from Hanxia by Jia Yi. He was sent to Europa and never dared to enter Hanxia in decades. He's now a highly esteemed figure in the HR Alliance, the 3rd strongest member after East and Atkin.
When Luo Feng was looking for voluntary sacrifices for the technique Six Blade Edges in order to defeat the Golden Horned Beast, Yan Hai replied to his email with "How certain are you?". This could indicate his willingness to sacrifice himself to save the Earth.
After the Golden Horned Beast incident, he broke through to Planetary Level 3 and was briefly the 2nd strongest fighter in the world as Hong and Lei Shen were in a coma, Mo Henderson, East and Jia Yi were deceased and Luo Feng was presumed dead. Yan Hai was eventually killed by a Planetary Level 6 Luo Feng after he possessed the Golden Horned Beast Body and made a clone of his human body.
